Very much enjoy playing this Uke (Strat style). Was missing a Concert size in my uke group and this one definitely fits the bill. Classic Fender look and finish, and this little uke puts out sound acoustically like you would not believe. Built-in tuner is dead on, noting that the strings almost seemed pre-stretched, staying in tune well. No strap knobs but I am happy to hold and play, or use my double hook uke strap. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good quality Concert-sized uke, at a good price. The music store near me had this uke priced $50 higher than Amazon. Side note - also bought the matching Fender gig bag which fits the uke perfectly. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I changed the stars due to our experience with the platform and the item. If you can get a good one without issues or maybe just a few then 4/5 stars but that didn't happen for us and it (return/replacement process) all got really messed up because it won't let us select certain options. We're going to have to be very patient with this one. We do not yet have a good one out of 4 and the last one is on the way back to Amazon now. The 4th had the best fit and finish but has a bad tuning key - waited 24 hours to open (today & sent right back upon discovery) - packaging was damaged upon arrival. Still... Had the highest hopes yet and will continue to so so. The normal processes do not work for us for the replacement option and it seems really messy now so just going to wait and let this one process before moving forward. If that also goes haywire we'll have to try to chat to sort it out again. I don't know why the formatting for this review looks all weird now but hopefully this helps. Olympic White Fullerton Jazzmaster Ukuele Seller/Shipper - Amazon/Amazon It sounds really good! Like the looks? Get it! The headstocks and necks are beautiful. The pick guards on the Jazzmasters are exquisite. The fretboards are decent and bound. They have adorable little fretboard dots almost like they wanted them to be to scale. No sharp fret edges. Thank You binding. The tuners are great and hold tune very well. The tuner is bright, articulate, and accurate. There are tone and volume controls with a tuner button that you hold to turn it on. It's off white with cream binding. The shades of white seem to vary slightly. I have yet to see a completely even and flat binding on one and have seen three. It really should not be an issue hopefully and is still pretty nice overall. The neck is indeed robust and also pretty. The binding once it reaches the body has not looked great on any. It can still play well and sound great. The gloss finish is nice and the paint job is okay to very good. I'll be waiting for the credit to get another one (our replacement option has always been faded out and doesn't work) on the way and hopefully be done until it's time to have 2!! I recommend deploying a small ukulele humidifier for this as soon as you get it. They do come dry. I do think they are worth it and would be giving 5 stars if we had gotten a good one any of the times... 😵💫 They all have some manufacturing issues (this includes those sold elsewhere - see youtube) but are still beautiful, sound nice, and have great electronics. If you write a song on it or just enjoy it very much and like the looks they are still worth the money in my humble opinion. It's more like a Goldilocks size Concert Ukulele as far as the body goes. The sound should be similar throughout the series due to the specs. Short & Simple Sound Sample above. Will add more later and do a long term review once that is possible. We've had good luck with other Fender products on Amazon and their partnership with them (as it appears) means you hopefully will have no issues with customer service and marketplace processes since it is direct. ... show more

Probably the second or third review. Unit is beautiful and tunes easily with the built in tuner. Only things was the installed batteries (2) that came with the Uke only lasted a couple of days. After tuning tried the pre amp output (no instructions) and no work however found out online that tuner must be OFF and 'Tone and Volume' adjustments work (better?) on full ON. It's what you'd expect from a Fender for a price you would not expect. My wife and I went to the Jimmy Buffett concert in Indianapolis earlier this year and Jimmy was playing one of these (an identical version). I do play guitar but had never played a uke. My wife thought JB's was really cool and asked if I could play a ukulele. I said, "No, but I've always wanted to learn." She said I should get one like Jimmy's and I told her that I figured his cost $600 or more. Turns out I was way off. Jimmy has had some strap buttons added to his that doesn't come on the regular version but otherwise it's the same. Great tone, love the preamp/tuner, sounds great though my Positive Grid Spark. This is definitely not a toy. It is concert size so it's bigger than a soprano ukulele (the one I'd say most people are familiar with) but smaller than a tenor. ... show more

I've been eyeing this specific ukulele model for a while, but was hesitant to buy anything tech/instrument related on here because of the lack of precautions they are kept inside the Amazon warehouse. When it arrived at my door, it was inside a very thin box (no amazon packaging) not even bubble wrap. It turned out fine, I was a little worried because I thought it would be broken, nothing but a few scratches. A few days later, I was playing and FOUND MOLD allover the tuning pegs. So word of caution: please clean your instrument with isopropyl alcohol when you get it!! I still recommend this instrument, it plays like a dream, but be wary and give it a good wipe down. ... show more
