I bought this guitar because I started lessons in October. It was supposed to be my, “temporary guitar” until I “earned” a “real” guitar. This guitar is perfect for me. The sound is lovely, it surprisingly holds its tuning for days on end, even though it’s new, and it’s easy to carry around back-and-forth to lessons because of the size and the lightness. In the description you don’t see that it comes with a backpack gig bag, and that was a nice surprise. This is not a concert guitar, it doesn’t put out a ton of sound, and it doesn’t have strap pegs. All that being said, I truly love it. Even my guitar teacher was surprised at the tone and craftsmanship. I’m 5 feet 7 1/2 inches tall, and it doesn’t feel small. I would say this would be a great instrument for adolescent beginners, and anyone just wanting to learn to play. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Beautiful little beginner guitar. The frets are nicely finished and have no sharp edges. It has a nice loud sound. The action is low which makes learning easier. If played aggressively it will buzz just like any low action set up. You can fix this yourself if it's an issue for your play style with a taller bridge insert or nut (see internet for ideas on raising the nut slot heights without replacing or replace). I bought 2 fender 3/4 guitars both beautifully set up. It is beautifully made and would really encourage a young guitarist to play on such a lovely beginner instrument. It would also make a nice sturdy travel guitar to play with on trips. It is a solidly made guitar. I bought this as a beater guitar "used acceptable" on Amazon warehouse for a 7 year old. And a second one for a 12 year old. Even my 15 year old and I love the feel and play of it. Great for many different ages. ... show more

    • Good Value For Beginners or as a Beater Guitar, Tuners Aren't the Best

I purchased this guitar to practice during a holiday and to leave behind for my 7-year old nephew. For those purposes, it's great. The price is very affordable and it plays reasonably well. My nephew loves the color and the 3/4 size is something he can grow with for years. Out of the box, the action was a little low and there was some buzzing after the seventh fret. A slight truss rod adjustment had the guitar playing nicely. Unfortunately, the tuners aren't very good. Even after the strings were broken in, I had to make slight tuning adjustments every day at the very least. If my nephew and I played for a few hours then we'd have to retune multiple times per day. If there were a 3.5-star option, that's what I would give this guitar. I'm mostly happy with it for what I paid, but the cheap tuners made the guitar mildly annoying. ... show more

We live in a RV and space is valuable. This guitar fits nicely into this lifestyle. It sounds very nice for a small body. It kind of reminds me of an old parlor guitar (Gibson) that I owned many years ago. The action is nice, I play comfortable up to 12th fret. Although NOT a replacement for the sound from a full body guitar, I've played worse and better. I would recommend this to anyone except the picky, it is not an instrument I would choose to play on stage but absolutely buy this again. ... show more
