My son was struggling with a used guitar that hurt his fingers. He says this beautiful Fender is so comfortable to play, and he loves that it stays tuned for a long time. The sound quality is rich with beautiful frequencies, and the matte color is unique. He likes that it doesn't show fingerprints.

I was wondering what the cheapest "Fender" branded guitar would be like - and I was pleasantly surprised. This guitar would be fantastic for a beginner (and serviceable/usable for anyone else.) Out of the box, the action was OK - it stays relatively in tune (as well as guitars that I have that cost 10Xs as much) For the price, it'd make a perfect "couch" or "campfire" guitar. Fit and finish are excellent. - nothing fancy - but well-made. No fret or playability issues. Maybe I got lucky with a "unicorn" instrument sprinkled with fairy dust, but overall? A decent nice-playing cheap guitar at an affordable price. Well worth it. ... show more

Recently purchased to replace a fender dreadnought I have had for years. I was a bit concerned about the neck and headstock and the narrower body but have come to love the playability. The rounded neck makes it feel easy ànd comfy I could not get the tuning keys to hold tune or tune easily. I swapped to the gyker locking tuning keys and it stays in tune now. I also changed the factory phosphorus stings with some flat wound to take some of the string buzz and warm the tone down. Guitar 140, tuning keys $40, flat wounds $30. So for around 210$ you get a rock solid fender that sounds amazing. Hope this helps anyone on the fence ... show more

I mean for real, I received my guitar on the 15th, today is the 17th of sept 2025. I tuned it noodled around a little bit, checked the string action, then hung on one of my wall guitar hangers for 24 hours, then placed it on my floor stand for 24 hours to acclimate to my weather. Pros The guitar is very nice looking, no chips, no scratches, nothing wrong out of the box. Almost still in tune from the factory. 👍 Neck joint is really good. 👍 Neck came very straight, slight relief. 👍 String action, low E - 9 & high E -7.5 at 12th fret, first fret capoed 👌 Stings aren't the greatest, but sound good. Turners are inexpensive stock, run of the mill you would expect, but it stays in tune, after 48 hours, it was 2 cents sharp on the low E, B , & high E, come on, my epiphone les paul doesn't stay that well in tune for hanging up or in a floor stand for 48 hrs. Fret job, awesome 👍 I have owned $2000 Gibbons, and $1200 Fenders that the fret ends weren't as smooth down the neck and 0 string buzz or high frets. I have had to do a fret end polishing. Whether a filing, sanding or something, on the frets on just about every guitar I have owned (im 65 I've owned a few guitars in my life) Neck has got to be the fastest neck on any guitar I've owned right out of the box. 👍 Who ever set this up at the factory needs to get a raise in pay. CONS Body material is quite thin (but who knows it might stay without warping for years ?) Plastic nut, (but cut right) Plastic bridge ( good height ) Inexpensive tunners ( buy stays in tune, literally for days) Frets need to be polished Fretboard needs oil, really dry Conclusion Would I recommend this for someone's first acoustic guitar, definitely a yes, even a experienced player that wants a good sounding guitar you don't have to worry about banging up around the house or on a camping trip. I wish my Harmony was as playable as this is ( my first guitar was a Harmony, plus I grew up in Redondo Beach, so, you know the name got to me, I had to check it out first, over the Fender FA-25 for the same price ) "Keep on playin" ... show more

I can't fairly review this cause I've never picked up a guitar in my life. That said, I was able to tune it with the included Fender app in less than 10 mins. and I have been working at it for a few months and it sounds pretty but really look at other reviews for quantifiable info. What a great deal this was! I had always wanted a Fender acoustic with a Stratocaster like neck ever since I played one many years ago. About as easy to play as a Fender electric, sounds good too. Perfect for beginners and pros with the strings very close to the neck.

great guitar for the price, i had to do a complete set to make the guitar play. the truss rod was was to tight and the strings where resting on the fret board . after the set up it's a very respectable guitar.
