I do like this guitar it has a crisp clear sound and I am able to drop the action on it close to an 1/8" to help with my string bends. So far so good and I do love the fender machine head awesome, for the price well worth it!

The guitar arrived quickly and in perfect order. It tuned up well and holds tune. It plays as a guitar should. It's not high end but it's not complete garbage either. It's average. Feels light. An afterthought is that some cutaways would make it more ergonomic against your body and easier to play.

For everyone leaving one-star reviews: remember what you're buying. If you want premium craftsmanship, top-tier sound, and professional features, you'll need to spend more money. That's just reality. For anyone looking for their first guitar and reading reviews while trying to decide, don't let the negative comments scare you away. This guitar is an affordable way to find out if playing is something you'll enjoy. If it inspires you to learn, then it's already doing its job. Later, you can spend more on a step higher, and know it's worth it. Just keep your expectations realistic. Like many entry-level guitars, it will likely need some basic setup. You'll need to tune it, and you may want a decent tuner, extra strings, and a few simple tools to make it play its best. Don't expect it to perform like a guitar that costs five or ten times as much right out the box. This is a great "weekend warrior" guitar, perfect for taking to a campfire, a beach trip, a party, or tossing in the back of the SUV without worrying about every little scratch or ding. A few dents and scuffs just adds character to a guitar that's meant to be played, not hidden away because it less expensive. Most importantly... play the guitar. No one picks up an instrument for the first time and sounds amazing. Every guitarist starts somewhere, and the only way to get better is to keep practicing. Bought this for our son who is just starting to learn to play. It’s a solid guitar for anyone. The strings are pretty easy to press down - which was a concern. It didn’t need any adjustments out of the box. No fret buzz. Great size as well. Highly recommend.

Recently purchased to replace a fender dreadnought I have had for years. I was a bit concerned about the neck and headstock and the narrower body but have come to love the playability. The rounded neck makes it feel easy ànd comfy I could not get the tuning keys to hold tune or tune easily. I swapped to the gyker locking tuning keys and it stays in tune now. I also changed the factory phosphorus stings with some flat wound to take some of the string buzz and warm the tone down. Guitar 140, tuning keys $40, flat wounds $30. So for around 210$ you get a rock solid fender that sounds amazing. Hope this helps anyone on the fence ... show more

I can't fairly review this cause I've never picked up a guitar in my life. That said, I was able to tune it with the included Fender app in less than 10 mins. and I have been working at it for a few months and it sounds pretty but really look at other reviews for quantifiable info.
