Description

This product comes as a 2 pack. This lamp shade is not an imported product. It is made with pride in the USA, and construction does not begin until you place your order. By request, you may specify changes to the dimensions, covering or the hardware color. (Extra charges may be necessary.) This shade is equipped with a Washer fitter. This is the most common fitter type. It consists of a small washer with an inner diameter hole size of approximately 1/2". The washer generally rests on the top of a metal harp above the light bulb and is held in place by a screw-on finial. The outside of the lamp shade has a fabric covering. The inside is a white styrene (white plastic). The top and bottom of this item is adorned with a 1/2" band of single fold lampshade trim. The trim is the same color as the covering.

So, I don’t usually write reviews. I first went to the Fenchel shade website and paid for swatches, I wanted the right color of white that wasn’t too blue and would mix with some shades in my room that were more Ivory. The linen shade in Snow was perfection. It’s definitely white but just not as harsh as a bright white. The lamps are RH (outlet and second hand) but I didn’t want to pay their prices and shipping for shades. I bought two from Amazon for less than one RH shade. (It’s cheaper on Amazon than on Fenchel website as well). And if I’d gone for white it would have been cheaper than a crap Walmart shade. BTW - the white sample was very nice and I totally would have saved the $ and bought it if I weren’t trying to match colors. But the Linen Snow gives a beautiful soft light so I’m so glad I went with that. I have tons of PB and RH lamps and shades, many silk, and Fenchel is the same quality! ... show more

    • Nice Lampshade
I purchased the linen white lampshades which are well made and nice quality for the price. They were delivered double boxed, with no damage. I will mention that they had a strong chemical odor, and needed to be aired out before placing on the bedroom lamps.

It's rare when something exceeds expectations, but these lamp shades did just that! Came well packaged, I'm using one on a nightstand and one on a side table. One lamp is 24" tall, the other 25". The shade is a soft white, not yellowish, which is exactly what I wanted.

Wasn't 100% sure what "linen white" means or what I would get. It's just a nice white shade with a little bit of texture that shows through when the light's on. The yellow tint in the photo with the blue edge is just a lack of color correction by the photographer.

Perfect shade for my bedside table lamp, and since it was a 2 pack if this one gets damaged I have a spare ready to go! I love this shade because it makes the room so much brighter. Very happy.

I spent a long time researching shades between Amazon and another popular online website. I read reviews and looked at pictures - all of which only delayed my decision about what to purchase. It's unbelievable how difficult it is to find decent, affordable lampshades. I was reluctant to order these because they weren't Prime shipping/returns, and there was a shipping fee. But the reviews for these were the best I could find, and the price was very reasonable. I finally decided to place the order, and I am extremely happy with these Fenchel Shades. They arrived in perfect condition, nicely packaged and protected. I just pulled them from the box, unwrapped the plastic, and installed them on my lamps. I ordered the Beige Homespun - 10" top diameter, 12" bottom diameter, 8" slant height. I was looking for a smaller size diameter because of the surface size of the tables I wanted to use the lamps on. These shades are great quality, sturdy and not flimsy or falling apart. Love love LOVE this lamp shades! They are more of an orange shade than a yellow gold. They cane packed in a sturdy double carton with each shade wrapped individually in plastic. There are no loose threads on the shades' borders and the large round top allows lots of light to come through.

    • Bright white shades
I like that they are white. I am getting older and having more trouble seeing. I need a brighter light and it seems that white shades are difficult to find. These are just the right size for my lamps also. Shipped fast also. If I need any more shades I know where to shop first.
