assembled 4 weeks ago with no problem, everything go in place and seems after 4 weeks being solid as day 1, armrests come from the back but does not flexed as weak plastic, armrests are sturdy in the back of the chair. seat is wide and comfortable for a 300 pounder. seat cushion is hard , i would love a softer and thicker one. this chair might be the top on my list of chair been assembly for me, the armrests i used to stand up and do not give an inch of movement. does not bend like others. ... show more

This chair doesn't go high enough to have the arm rests match my desk height, and the way that the arms raise at an angle is really uncomfortable. The chair was frankly more comfortable *without* the headrest. The seat itself is fairly comfortable, but not for extended periods of time.

I bought this chair because I needed the lower-middle back support and I needed a chair where the seat would fit in the leg area of an old vintage desk. I like that the arms fold up, too but it turns out they don't even bump the edge of the desk when I scoot in closer. I read the bad reviews and didn't think anything looked like too common of problems so I chanced it. Every item has bad reviews. I'm older and not to mechanical and it took me about 20 minutes to assemble. I was a little worried it was fall when I sat in it, like I may have assembled it wrong, but it was just fine. I'm writing this review to let other know that the size is good for a narrow leg space and the support has made a difference in supporting my back while I work. This chair is so uncomfortable! I got it 7 months ago and I have noticed that I bring my work to my couch or kitchen table rather than sit at my desk. I didn't put it together, but I started doing that shortly after I got this chair. It is so uncomfortable, itchy, and hot. The seat is scratchy and makes you hot. The armrests irritate my skin. The neck support doesn't even reach me. I try to lower and raise my chair to get the proper height and no matter what I do, it makes my legs go to sleep.
