Still in disbelief it worked

I always thought cat calming diffusers were a snake oil joke. Well I stand corrected. I have 4 cats who most of the time love each other and two of them are brothers. But they are cats. I had noticed as my two boys reached their later teens years (3-4) from kitten hood (1-2) there was more fighting and not all of it was good. My older cats showed signs of stress. My vet recommended this diffuser. I shrugged it off but after 2 more months of nothing working I caved and bought it. Within 30 minutes of plugging it in I had peach. Solid peace. And for the next 29 days peace… and then it ran out. Within 2 days of it being empty war began again. So now I buy the refill packs and don’t have anymore problems. We’re 6 months into continuous use. And only this one works. I tired a few of the others they offer but they didn’t work as well as this one. There is a light on the diffuser but it doesn’t light that bright in a dark room. There’s no scent of noise from the machine. I wish it was better fitted so I didn’t have to give up a whole outlet. But for peace in my home it’s a small price to pay.

Worked Great, But Too Pricey!

These calmed my cat down, but at about $100.00 per box, replenishing the refills on the monthly basis was just not sustainable. I’m not sure why these things are so expensive.

Yes, I have been using Feliway products for seven years. We love them in our home. We got another addition in the house so we opted into getting a feliway replacement bulb. So glad we did. Still works great. I’d imagine some vets give mixed opinions or none because they’d lose some of their business. Kitties have chilled they are adjusting much better now. They’re even cleaning each other and cuddling now. No leakage, heat level is fine. No scents detected by us either. These do last about a month but we get away with leaving them in for extra time, usually an extra week or two. Super easy to use. Can you plug in a plug? Yes? Then you can figure this out. Your cats might thank you. 10/10 longtime customer.

Superb for anxious/nervous scaredy cats.

Very easy to use. Each bottle actually lasts 60 - 90 days and has no smell I am able to detect. My cats are sibling barn cats rescued as kittens. They are now exclusively indoors but still very attuned to any unaccustomed sound and even now, at just over a year old, are very suspicious of ceiling fans. One will cautiously approach visitors but the other won’t consider it. Feliway Optimum does not make the cats behave as if drugged or dopey but pretty much like ordinary cats. Their natural fight or flight reflexes are not totally suppressed but seem to be reduced to a more normal, cat-rational level; they are simply more comfortable in their environment and in proximity to people. Life is just all around better for everybody.

Really helps

I buy these for my “stressed” cat. She started grooming excessively and lost a lot of fur. Vet ruled out illness and suggested these. I’ve been buying them for over a year now and they work great. She is less anxious and fur is growing back. Great purchse

Keeps him from racing around like a "mad" cat.

I think this nocturnal racing is called the "zoomies" and my cat had them bad. Gifted to me by a woman who had 13 other cats, Sammy was used to being an indoor/outdoor cat for the first 7 years of his life. Given to me because my cat had died and Sammy was being bullied by an older, bigger cat, Sammy moved to an apartment and had to become a strictly indoor cat. A hard transition and I believe his nighttime racing aroundmy apartment was the result. Enter Feliway Calming Pheromones. I wasn't convinced they would work but they had good reviews and I was desperate. WELL, within 5 MINUTES Sammy stopped racing around the couch, sat down and became his affectionate, purring and calm, daytime self. I was totally amazed. These pheromone bottles last about a month a they aren't cheap - $39 a bottle - but boy do they work and oh are they worth it! If I forget to replace a bottle Sammy just starts racing around the sofa at night and I realize, oops! forgot to replace the pheromone bottle. Replacing the bottle is easy peasy. Just unscrew the lid and screw it onto the white light. Put it a central location. You won't smell a thing but your cat will and if he is like Sammy, he will calm down within 5 MINUTES. GREAT product!
