The 8-10 was a big jump in sizing. Way too big for a slender 8 year and under kiddo. So please keep that in mind that the larger size runs big. We are keeping because she will eventually grow into her favorite shorts. Shorts are lightweight and color is very vibrant. Have an elastic waist. Great shorts for soccer or other sports.
