I couldn't be happier with this sewing machine. I am an experienced seamstress, I needed a reliable everyday use type machine as I already have a heavy duty sewing machine for upholstery and sail making. This machine hits all the right marks—powerful performance, solid build quality, and a great set of features. It's easy to use and is quiet. It runs at a consistent speed, no lurching. I’ve used it on cotton, denim, and a variety of synthetic fabrics. It has handled everything smoothly. The automatic needle threader and drop-in bobbin are simple to set up and don't jam. The 25 built-in stitches are wonderful, the stretch stitches are particularly useful. The included 5 sewing feet (zigzag, buttonhole, button sewing, blind hem, and zipper foot) cover most common needs, and the extra bobbins are an added bonus. While being full-sized and sturdy, it's still compact and lightweight enough for me to move around. That's a plus because I've been taking it over to my son's house to help him learn to sew. This machine works great for both me, an experienced seamstress and him - an absolute beginner that didn't even know machines had bobbins or what they did! Overall, this machine feels far more premium than its price suggests.

This machine is easy to set up and comes with a link to a website with very handy setup and usage instructions. (CD Rom comes in the packaging, but who has an anything to play that on anymore?). Construction of this machine is very solid so I was very pleasantly surprised at how light it is to move around with convenient pop-up handle on top. I like to work on projects at the lake house and at the beach, but other machines would be way too much to transport. Because this one is so light weight, it can move easily wherever I want it to go and comes with a hand dust cover. There are so many well thought out features of this machine such as easily detailed bottom plat for free form sewing, powerful built in light, drop down storage compartment, The motor is as powerful as some big name brand machines i’ve used and can conquer even the thickest fabric. Now that I’m getting some age, the automatic needle threader is a life saver. I really liked that the machine came with several bobbins, needles and easily detachable foot control. This machine also has the easiest way to reverse I’ve seen on a machine with a well placed one touch lever on the front of the machine. I’ve only played with a few stitch types and have been impressed by consistently and accuracy so far. I can’t wait to try them all out as soon as I can. If you’re just beginning or an old pro, this is a quality machine especially because it is easy to move around when neeeded.

I have never sewed a day in my life but this sewing machine looks pretty easy to use. It has some weight to it but isn't that heavy. Machine comes with an electric foot pedal, book and CD on how to use it. Looks and feels very durable. It has a metal frame that makes it very strong.

This sewing machine has plenty of features, and lots of accessories. It is sturdy, and easy to use. I haven't used a sewing machine in decades, but this one is really easy to get started with. It works well, is quiet, and makes great stitches. Definitely worth the money.

A nice basic sewing machine that does everything needed for a beginning or intermediate sewer - multiple stitches, a full package of extras (sewing feet, tools, bobbins). Heavy duty, portable, helpful thread guides - no name brand but still great for all household sewing needs.
