Cons: It doesn't feel as secure and confidence that it is not as solid as a rigid ladder quickly starts to become questionable. This ladder is a great ladder compared to the old heavy ladders. I bought the 16.5 ladder and it's easy to put it up and put it down. Not as sturdy as the heavy ladder but it works just as good and you can store it easier.

    • Really watch your fingers when you retract the ladder!

It's definitely a space saving simple ladder. When extended fully, you do need someone to hold from bottom to keep it steady. The scary part is when you retract. Remember the whole weight of extension above is coming down when you hit those release buttons! KEEP YOUR FINGERS AWAY OR IT WILL BE CRUSHED! ... show more
