This is my second filter list water fountain for cats and I love it. It's far better than the one that I had . I reviewed the The negative comments about this unit and I think it's because they didn't understand how to program the device. I set mine to only fill the little water bowl at the smallest level and only two times a day, and there are six potential times a day. If you have two or three cats you would fill it more often. The point is some of these other ones keep refilling the water too often and so the spent water tank fills so quickly you have to empty it too often. I've had my unit about a week now and have not needed to empty the spent water container once. Overall, this is the best filterless water container or fountain that I have found anywhere. The battery lasts forever. It's super reliable and easy to use. My cat loves it Five stars!

I’ve tried several pet fountains over the years, but this one is by far the most impressive upgrade for my indoor cats. The absolute biggest game-changer is the wireless design powered by the impressive 3000mAh battery. Not having to worry about my cats chewing on power cords gives me immense peace of mind. Plus, I can easily place it anywhere in the house without needing to be tethered to a wall outlet. Not a fan of this one. Assembly was easy. The size is okay. It seems to be make well and not flimsy. I do like that it keeps the used water separate from the dirty water. With all that said, my cats aren't drinking from it. They are scared of the noise it makes when it dumps the water which makes them nervous to drink from it. Dumping the used water it is annoying also. I spill the water every time. I know the battery lasts a long time but having to dump the dirty water every other day will not allow for even a long weekend trip. I will be returning.

Setup is straightforward and pretty easy. The clean water tank is nice and so is the used water tank. Dialing it in so you don’t waste a lot of water takes some time. Monitoring your cats habits is a must. When I first set it up we went through the water quickly. I readjusted the water fill rate and it seems that no matter what setting I used it always puts the same amount in. This is the reason for the 4 stars. The programming needs refinement from the manufacturer once they fix that I think this unit would be a winner.

I bought this for my (formerly stray) cat who does not like traditional fountains and I needed to upgrade his no-spill plastic bowl to something stainless steel. This is not a fountain and is more of an automatic water bowl. First impressions: Pros: -Universal: separating used water from the clean water -Specific to me: Low profile. My cat is a scaredy cat and does not like giant, new things. -Universal: when programming the "meals" (see cons) you can adjust the amount of water that goes into the tray. -Specific to me: it's not a fountain. I do not like the constant sound of running water in my house and neither does my cat. -Universal: there is a way to manually refresh the water but... (see cons) Cons: I'm going to start with the biggest: -You have to pre-program the times when the water gets refreshed and there are 6 slots to program in a day. If you want it to cover 24 hours then you need to program each "meal" in 4 hour increments like 01:00, 05:00, 09:00, 13:00, 17:00, 21:00 (yes, it uses the 24h clock format). I would much prefer a general "every four hours" or for the unit to be smart enough to sense when a cat has visited and refresh shortly after. -The unit is three separate pieces and the design is annoying af. You cannot pick this unit up as one piece, and if you try, it will fall apart because nothing is secure. You have to attach the dirty water tank to the bottom of the middle unit by male/female connection. The clean water tank is also a male/female connection and it sits on top of the middle unit. Water weight keeps everything secure. Note: As long as the whole thing is on a flat surface, it stays in place with no issues. -I witnessed a tiny piece of food at the bottom of the deepest part of the tray not empty with the rest of the water. Hopefully it was a one-off, otherwise it completely defeats the purpose. -You have to go into the menu in order to manually refresh the water rather than there being a physical button to press -The tray emptying is almost silent but when the unit is refilling the water it's louder. Observations: -You can potentially waste a lot of water since refreshing is scheduled and not as-needed. It took about a day and a half for the dirty tank to fill up but I only saw my second cat visiting the tray a couple times. -Make sure you're charging via a fast charger otherwise it'll take forever -Something to watch out for: I didn't notice the dirty water tank was full and the tray emptied on a scheduled refresh, but it did not fill back up. I thought there was enough water in the clean tank to fill it, but maybe there wasn't, maybe it doesn't fill back up once the dirty tank is full? Unsure and can report back when I confirm. Preliminary thoughts: after a few days, I think it's a good unit and reaches its goal of providing cats clean water, however, it feels like this is a low-tech, Level 1 model. The fact that you have to program the times to refresh the water is my biggest issue with this unit along with not having a quick, physical button to manually refresh yourself.

Love the concept. However two issues. One, it does go through a lot of water and there isn’t really any notification regarding water level. Two, and most annoying, I can’t get the metal tray to stay connected to the arm. Which means that some time the water doesn’t get dumped and worst yet some the dish isn’t returned to the home position so it can’t fill. I wish I hadn’t recycled the box or is send it back. To say the least I’m more than disappointed. I did try to contact Feelneedy, but got nothing to date. Maybe it’s a great product, but the one I got certainly isn’t.

I am beyond impressed with this FEELNEEDY fountain!
