I ordered one set for our cabin. Being they are rather hard to sit on, my husband made wooden seat covers and screwed them onto the tops. They look great. I liked those so much that I ordered another set for our home. We have a large, extended family so at holidays and gatherings we run out of seats at our island. I bought these for extras because they are stackable and easy to store. I also know my daughter-in-law has a set of these in turquoise. Mine are all black.

I wanted to purchase some inexpensive stools for an outdoor bar. There is no cover on the outdoor bar, so I wanted something that could withstand the elements. These stools are a good value for the money. They are sturdy and seem to hold up well to the elements. They aren't luxurious with backs and seat covers, but we are usually playing horseshoes out back and sitting on them when others are throwing. They work great for what I needed. UPDATE: I liked them so much I bought four more for the patio bar. These stools aren't for long term sitting, but they work great as people saddle up to the bar and have a beer.
