These are pretty much as described. The display is large and easy to read, it goes to sleep to extend battery life, it switches easily from one measurement mode to another. The fit and finish aren't quite as nice as a Starrett or a Mitutoyo but for this price point, they see totally satisfactory. I've only had them for a few days and have only used them a half dozen times, but from what I've seen so far, I'd definitely buy them again and would recommend them to others.

Quality tool. I checked the accuracy with machinist gauges and it is right on. The switches have a nice positive 'click' to them. Display panel is very easy to read.

Update: I decided to try charging it again. It instantly popped and started smoking. Now it's sitting in my road because it could light on fire at any moment. Funfact, after the pop it started working again albeit shortly. So evidently it wasn't the battery at fault but something else in the hardware. I bought this March 12th and it's already dead on june 1st, it no longer accepts a charge.
