It really should have come with the bolts to mount it to the boat. If you get this and buy the bolts, make sure you get some nylon insert type nuts so they don't vibrate loose.

I used the winch 3 times and the spring on the switch broke. It broke about 2 weeks past the time I could get support from Amazon. I have emailed and tryed to call Favorite-Trade. Favorite-Trade is the one that sales through Amazon. I have not been able to get any support from the retailer. For this price tag I would expect to have a better warranty. ... show more

I received the winch within a couple of days and packaged very well. This is a two way ratcheting winch for safety to rise and lower my ham radio telecoping tower. I liked the construction of the winch, I would have rather had a nylon strap instead of the cable. I just traded it out from my old worn out winch that the gears were worn out on.
