I used the winch 3 times and the spring on the switch broke. It broke about 2 weeks past the time I could get support from Amazon. I have emailed and tryed to call Favorite-Trade. Favorite-Trade is the one that sales through Amazon. I have not been able to get any support from the retailer. For this price tag I would expect to have a better warranty.

I received the winch within a couple of days and packaged very well. This is a two way ratcheting winch for safety to rise and lower my ham radio telecoping tower. It came with a 5/16 galvanized side mounting plate that I didn’t know it had. This winch is great for my purpose with a 3500 lbs. capacity.

I liked the construction of the winch, I would have rather had a nylon strap instead of the cable. I just traded it out from my old worn out winch that the gears were worn out on.
