This Aircraft is ever so simple to assemble and get into the air. I am an experienced Large Sailplane PILOT and find this little RC model has the same characteristics. Should be very easy for a lpw time RC pilot to fly safely. It soars well, but be careful of high speed acro as the design cannot take heavy G Loads. Loops should be done with min power. ... show more

    • Great Glider
My favorite glider. Good for beginners, but can be a little slow and boring if you're used to flying warbirds or EDFs. The lights it looks amazing at dusk and to cut the engine and woosh by, low to the ground - there's no better sound. I had the previous Flite Test version, and it was great as well.

    • The lights don't work.
Advertised to have lights, but they have never worked. Replaced multiple switches and it still won't work. Disappointed.

The plane was clearly returned previously and not packaged well. The factory applied decals and tape over the led lights are far from perfect. They are not straight, have wrinkles and bubbles, and are peeling off in some areas.

    • Overall good new pilot experience
I sucessfully flew it with the kids for the first time but as a newbe, it was a small project to get here. I came into this with an expectation of easy to find information about a technical hobby. I was about 50% correct. It was actually a little hard to know specifically what to buy to support the glider. It would have helped me to download the operating manual but even then, it's really technical for someone that doesn't already understand how it all works together. That being said, I figured it out. Putting the glider together, I had to sand the wings a little so they would fit. I abandoned the provided stabilizer tape for a better tape solution that ensured the tail wouldn't move. I'm using a 2200 50C LiPo and it gave it a 2 3/4 inch CG vice the target of 3 inches so I found a perfect washer to tape to the tail. Without local help, I'm really happy I practiced flying it on the RF sim with VR and the controller dongle. The nose was heavy on the first flight but I proudly didn't crash. An adjustment to extend the elevator rod fixed that issue. After that super smooth and stable! Kids flew great. Oh, it glides great so expect super long approaches. ... show more

This craft flies FOREVER on it's battery. It climbs like a predator and it irritates Turkey Vultures seeking the same thermals. Fun to fly, in fact it will thermal ride out of sight in short order! Tough (so far), colorful and super fun!
