Bought 4 of these scooters (almost $2,000) for our family. One of them arrived sounding like everything inside were the battery is hasn't been assembled correctly. Sounds like screws and parts floating around. Took it in to send it back and had to pay $100 to return it. FOR A BRAND NEW PRODUCT THAT SHOWED UP BROKEN! Ive called customer service for 4 days now and left messages and not one person has answered or returned a call. Terrible company, would give a negative 20 stars if i could. And its sealed so im not about to pull apart a brand new $500 scooter. The other 3 im not impressed with build quality. All the stickers are falling off and every little bump the shocks clunk and sound terrible. If they would answer or return a call and make things right id have a different review. But now ive spent 2k on scooters and another $100 to return one thats junk brand new. ... show more

    • Better off buying direct from Amazon. It will be much easier to return.
Avoid at all costs. Third party item so the return process is a hot mess. First off the OBX scooter looks nicely built on the surface, but upon closer examination there are issues. The screen is extremely dim in the sunlight, very hard to see. The one brake is not enough for a scooter this speed and stopping is challenging. One must squeeze very hard and it is not smooth stopping. Scooter speeds up dangerously for no reason. The app is a generic app and doesn't work very well. I filed for a return and it was approved by the seller--and was told to pay the return postage which was $115. The item was returned three days later with a bad address. Six phone calls later to Amazon and claiming Amazon's A-Z guarantee I got most of my money back. I am still waiting for my postage back. Stay away! ... show more
