For those of you getting the error code 5s. You have to set the scooter to 0000. To do this turn the scooter on and press the buttons on the far left. If you hit the upper button it will set the first digit to zero. To move to the next digit press the power button and you will be able to set the second digit. Once you have set all four digits to 0000, hold the power button down to turn the scooter on. Then it will operate as it should ... show more

We are extremely disappointed with this purchase. The scooter arrived defective right out of the box. When turned on, it immediately shows error code 5C and does not move at all. It appears the product was not properly inspected before shipping. We only assembled it according to the instructions and checked the connections, but the error was there from the start. Our child was very excited and ended up very disappointed. We also paid $100 for shipping, which makes this situation even more frustrating.
