My 8 year old daughter picked this coat out for her winter coat this year and she couldn’t be happier. I took her measurements before ordering and ended up ordering a size “9-10” and it fits perfectly. It big enough that she can wear a sweater or hoodie underneath but not too big that air seeps up from underneath. The color is a gorgeous light blue and looks much better in person than in pictures. My daughter is very fashion conscious and even she loves this coat. The material feels slick like most kids’ winter coat so it should repel the rain/snow, we’re in NW Indiana and haven’t gotten the snow yet, just cold. She says it keeps her warm, so far temps have only gotten down to 30F. The hood has gorgeous blue “fur” and is detachable for easy washing of coat. The coat is a good length and goes below her bottom and she says the pockets are pretty roomy for her gloves. It zips up but also has a second outer layer of snap buttons to keep it really closed up and give a more finished look. Again, she ordered the light blue but I imagine the other colors are just as beautiful.

I orders this coat a few weeks before my 8 year old’s birthday. She has had it now for about 1 months and the zipper is broken. The pretty “fur” around the hood looked matted after only one time playing in the snow. The window to return this coat is closed so we are stuck with a old looking broken coat 😕 very disappointed especially when I paid more for what I thought would be a quality item.
