This scooter is great for my son. He’s 7 but the size of a 10 year old. He can easily carry it in and out of the shed by himself. He knows how to operate it without help. It goes fast enough to keep him entertained but not too fast that I get worried about him riding it. It is very affordable compared to other scooters in this range. The only thing he gets upset about is the battery doesn’t stay charged long enough for him but that’s because he’s outside for hours playing. It does give about 40 minutes of run time before starting to die as it says though. It is worth the money! **Edit** I have been in contact with customer support and they will be sending us a replacement. I am very thankful for the fast response and amazing customer support. Will update once it arrives. My daughter received this for her birthday and unfortunately was only enjoyed for less than two days. As she rode the scooter, she got struck by a vehicle going too fast and did not see her. The scooter is damaged, and my daughter is okay with minor internal bruising. I did not purchase insurance on this scooter and even if I did, I do not think that I could get replaced. This scooter did ride pretty smooth and is appropriate for kids age 7 and up. ... show more

If I could give less than one star I would. This was bought as a Christmas present for our daughter. Wires were not connected and it has never worked! We tried contacting the company and seller several times and NEVER received anything back. Not an email. Not a phone call. No one has reached out to resolve the problem or help us find a solution. My daughter (7yr) loves it. She can choose between 3 speeds, and the fastest isn't too fast for her safety. I like that she has the choice between the heel brake and the hand brake (good for transitioning them from one to other). The product arrived with a defect - couldn't adjust the height. I contacted customer service, they asked me to send a video describing the issue, which I did, and they promptly sent me a new one! Great customer service. This is our second time purchasing this scooter. My 10 year old received one for her birthday and loves it. My 8 year old had to get the same one because she kept taking her older sisters. The settings are great, there are 3 speeds to set and it’s been very durable. It was easy to assemble and holds a charge.
