I truly like Fanttik products. This one however would have kept me from buying another product of theirs. To charge it you have a white light that blinks until fully charged. To tell how much battery you have it shows a white light or an orange or red light. Guess how much battery is remaining. Then the sides have open vents. Dust, dirt, water? Can't really carry it with you. I'm happy with the other products but not with this. It will stay in the garage. ... show more

  • Quickly inflates and monitors pressure.
This air compressor is well made and once fully charged can fully inflate several tires before needing a recharge. It is surprisingly quiet considering the large quantities of air that it is moving. I like the light feature because it helps me to connect the air compressor to my tire in the dark. This is a well thought out tool and is a must have for any vehicle. It gives me piece of mind to know that I can air up my tire or anyone else's any time I want to. No more hoping the machine at the gas station is working! ... show more

  • compact air compressure, loud and slow but gets the job done
The media could not be loaded. My son got a portable air compressor a while back as a gift for use on his mountain bike. I really liked how small and useful it was, so I decided to get this rechargeable air compressor from Fanttik. It's listed as model X9. I'm really impressed with it. It's small and I'm able to keep it in the glove box in our car. It comes with a soft storage bag as well as presta adapter and ball needle. It charges via an included USB-A to USB-C cable. The hose is short and loops into the top of the compressor. As soon as you pull the end out, it turns on. You can easily set your desired pressure, connect the hose to your tire (or other item), and it will pump until it reaches that pressure. It is loud, and takes a little while to pump up a car tire several PSI, but it gets the job done. The hose gets really hot during use. I checked with a cheap pressure gauge and found that it filled within .5 PSI of what I set as the desired pressure, but that difference could well be my gauge. It has a small light on the top as well that works as a flashlight or blinking safety light. It's about 2.75 inches wide, 1.75 inches thick, and 5 inches tall (without counting the hose.) It has a little weight to it, just under a pound. I'm fully satisfied with this. It's super compact and a great piece of mind to have in the car with us. ... show more

  • A good thing to keep in the car
It may be small but it will air up a car tire and it's worth having in your car 24/7 just because of that. It's better for bikes, obviously but worth having in general.

  • Handy Little Inflator
I really like this inflator. It's somewhat on the small side to inflate car tires, but i don't think that's the intended use. I really like this to keep in my bag with my mountain bike stuff. It could be very handy to air up between runs or inflate a tire after a repair, assuming you're close enough to where you keep it. It's still what i would consider too bulky\heavy to attempt to pack it on the bike itself. I would still keep a hand pump for emergency use. I did top off a few car tires right out of the box, but they were only 3-4 psi low. It still did it reasonably quick, and much faster than dragging out my air hose and waiting for my air compressor to build up pressure. I will be purchasing the larger version of this for my automotive needs and keep this for all my bike and kids toys needs. ... show more

  • Small and compact. Easy to use.
I obtained this battery air pump to air up my Jeep tires after an off road trip. I usually let 10 lbs. of air out of each tire so off road travel is a little softer. I have had a plugin portable I have been using but dragging a cord around is inconvenient. I was hoping this would be a solution. When I tested this device it took about 12 minutes to air my Jeep tire from 25 lbs. to 35 lbs. on one tire. This would mean it would take about an hour to air up all four tires. This compressor works very well but just doesn’t have the volume needed for car tires. It would work very well for bicycles and toys needing small volumes of air. The 4 star review is for the lack of volume on vehicle tires. ... show more

  • Good tire inflator with accurate psi gauge and decent battery life.
This is a good tire inflator with decent battery life. It is solid and seems to be very high quality unit that does not feel flimsy and the hose doesn't seem like it would break or leak. It is very small and compact and will fit under your seat, in the glove box, center console, or trunk without issue. It has a digital screen that shows what psi is currently set and you push the buttons to raise or lower the number to the desired value. In order to turn the unit on, you need to pull out the valve side of the hose. Once you pull the valve it will turn on and you should see the default PSI on the screen. I tested this out on my tires that were at 31 psi per the gauge. I then set the psi to 36 to see if it would inflate them to the standard 35 or go to the 36 that I input. I made sure to charge it to full before starting my test to see if it would inflate all 4 of my tires. I have a 4 door sedan with 18 inch tires and they are factory. If you have an SUV with large tires that need a lot of volume just to get to 35 psi or super low profile tires that need a higher psi threshold, this might not be the inflator for you. In my test from a full charge, it could only inflate 3 of my 4 factory tires. They were only going from 31 to 36 PSI. Each tire took a few minutes to inflate so once I attached it to the valve stem and hit start I left it alone. When I came back after hearing the inflator shut off I checked the psi on the screen and it read 36. I then removed it and repeated the process on the next tire and left it alone. When I came back the screen said 36. I removed it and repeated it for the third tire and left it alone. Same thing, it auto shut off when it got to the desired psi. The low voltage LED was on indicating it needed charging. The positives are that the gauge is pretty accurate, it will auto shut off when it reaches the target pressure, it is compact, and it is rechargeable. I don't know how well it will do inflating a fully flat tire or something that is leaking air. I would imagine it will only do maybe two tires or 1 fully flat tire but your results may vary. I would only use this for emergencies or to top off tires that are slightly below your recommended psi. I have not tried it with bicycle tires or motorcycle tires but it would probably do better with smaller volume tires. If you have a flat and have a can of Fix A Flat that will add sealant and partially inflate a tire and then use this to get it to a higher pressure, that would be ideal as the work load of inflating the tire is split between the can and this inflator. I also have not tried to see if it will function while plugged in and charging as that would require a very long USB C cable. As mentioned earlier, it does not have the best battery life, but it is so small and compact that it will fit almost anywhere. The tradeoff with the compact size is that the pump, the screen, the controls, the hose and the battery all have to fit in that tiny space. What happens is that there is very little room in the unit for the battery. In a future design I would request that they make the overall unit larger to increase the size of the battery so that you can inflate all 4 tires on a sedan. Bottom line, this would be best used to add or maintain your tire pressure or inflate one flat tire in an emergency. Or if you want to inflate rafts, bicycle tires, or other lower psi items this would probably do very well in that environment. I'll keep it in my car and pair it with a can of Fix A Flat type sealant/inflator and have peace of mind that if I ever get a single flat I should be covered. For the job that it did and its features I give it 4 stars. Increase the battery life and I would give future versions 5 stars. ... show more
