I’ve owned 3 of these water fountains and I keep coming back to them. They usually last about 18 months before the motor takes a poo - and until now, i didn’t realize i could just buy a replacement motor over a whole new fountain, so noted for the future. They have a good fountain and my cats go feral over this thing, they LOVE it. It’s easy to disassemble to clean and it is very inexpensive for filters and whatnot. I don’t see a need to look at any other type of fountain. I did previously own the one with the metal tray instead of the plastic, and i’ll say i actually prefer the plastic - it’s easier to clean and doesn’t get the black gunk in its crevices as easily. And, the slits for water flow are bigger, and I think my cats prefer that ... show more

Considering how inexpensive this fountain is, I was impressed with it. There are definitely a few things that could be improved, but definitely better than I expected. It is plastic, so there is that, but for this price I wouldn't have expected anything else. I wish that you could turn off the light, but it's not terrible. I also wish that the stream was a little finer. Apparently my cat is very picky. She likes to drink out of a very tiny stream from the faucet, and this is not adjustable that I can figure out to make the stream any smaller. It will also make a trickling noise, so if you are expecting complete silence, you are not going to get it. I think the trickling noise is soothing and I enjoy fountains so it's no problem for me, but you should definitely be aware it is not silent. There is a very minimal hum from the motor, but it is definitely not loud by any means. The cord is a decent length to reach down to the floor. I think this is a nice starter set if you are looking to introduce your cat to a fountain. ... show more

My cats have had a fountain since they were 8 weeks. Mine broke and they didn’t know how to actually drink from a bowl so I got this one. It is cool that there is a light and the noise is minimal. It is smaller than my old one but appears to be durable and of good quality. So far so good!

I’ve owned this for a month now, and haven’t had any problems. It’s mostly quiet until the water starts to run low, but that’s a good auditory reminder for me to add more water. Otherwise, I’m hardly aware of it. Easy to clean and assemble. My cat drinks from it just fine, but the flower occupies a lot of space and gets his face a little wet when he tries to drink from the back. ... show more

Paid the same price for a fountain on temu, what a rip off, plastic bowl basically… but my cat won’t leave me alone if I shut the sink off so I thought I’d give Amazon a shot… way better value!! Kitty loves it!

Bought to replace my last one I had dor awhile. Works well, but the spout is a bit higher so it does make a louder fountain noise. If that isn't an issue would recommend, if not, I wouldn't recommend

My cats have never struggled to drink water or anything but I decided to purchase this bc I’ve heard that cats like to have moving water. This was definitely a game changer for my cats as soon as it got to my house and I cleaned and filled this fountain with water my cats all instantly went to check it out. They are enjoy it so much and although I have a few more water dishes lying around the fountain is definitely their go-to. (Side note do NOT let the pump run while there is no water in the fountain. I screwed up by missing that notice and ended up having to buy a replacement pump for it. So as long as you don’t make my same mistake this fountain will last a long while.) ... show more
