I purchased this light for a formal living room with 18’ ceilings. I shopped quite a bit in local stores and ordered a few off Amazon that were either too dim or didn’t work. I finally settled on this light, which I love both the price point and quality. Build: The housing is plastic and very lightweight, but it’s also very elegant. The curves are very unique and gives the room a modern and elegant feel. Light: The 4000k LED has a good balance (not too warm or overbearingly white). It lets out plenty of light for the large space, but it would probably not be enough if I didn’t have a chandelier in an adjacent room. It would be nice to know the number of lumens, but the manufacturer doesn’t publish this. My guess is it’s close to 800 ... show more
