I got this portable air cooler as a gift for my dad, since his workshop gets crazy hot in the summer. It’s not a full-on AC, but more like a fan that uses water to cool the air. He set it up in the corner and uses it pretty much every day now. It’s got a small size, so it doesn’t take up much space, which is great for smaller rooms or garages. There are different modes and speeds, which makes it easy to adjust depending on how hot it is. He likes the "cool" mode the most—just fill the tank with water and it blows out cooler air. Not ice cold, but way better than a regular fan. It’s quiet enough to run while watching TV or working on stuff without being annoying. Only downsides are that you have to refill the water tank kind of often, especially if you use it on the higher settings. Also, don’t expect it to cool down a whole big room—it’s more for personal use or smaller areas. Still, it’s a good step up from a regular desk fan. As a gift, it turned out to be a smart pick. I just got this yesterday and tried it right away. I’m in Las Vegas, and it gets extremely hot and dry here, so I really needed something strong even with a regular AC running. I had a smaller cooler before, but this one is definitely bigger and works much better. The air feels cooler and stronger, and I like the design a lot too.
