This little electric fireplace is phenomenal for the price. I bought it in hopes that it would work for what I wanted, but feared that it was going to be a bit too small. Given that it works with LED technology I find I can leave it on all the time if I’d like. It’s amazing how this little fireplace can truly give you the vibe of a cozy space. I love the style of the grate that holds the logs, and with the remote being able to control three settings for the flames, and a couple of settings for emitting heat, I’m just amazed that all of this comes with this fireplace. The media could not be loaded. I used it as a fire replacement in my actual fireplace, and it is an excellent substitute, the crackled helps complete the illusion and the heater actually is very useful because my front room is very drafty, nice ambient heat.

The media could not be loaded. I really like this insert. I researched quite a few of them. I love the realistic looking logs on the top.I have a small wood burning fireplace as I live in a condo, this fit perfectly. I was so tired of cleaning up the ashes every time I had a fire but wanted one that didn't look so cheesy. It could be a little brighter but overall I am happy. The video is from my old camera phone so you don't get the full effect. I did buy a crackle box and glad I did. I also had to buy a good extension cord as my outlets are just a little bit too far away. I am happy with the heater too you can hear it when it is on but not a big deal especially because it does heat my living room up pretty good. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase but I have only had it for one day. The remote is easy to use, there is the on and off and 3 settings for the flame. If there are any issues I will update my review. Update: The light bulb went out, the company has responded and are sending me a new replacement since it is under mfg warranty. This infrared fireplace is easy to use and forget. Ours casts the light of the flames behind it and makes a really cheerful background. You will probably not gaze into it with the same quality of reverie as with a natural fire, but then you will also not miss all the set-up, maintenance, and expense of a natural fire. This is a great product. We've only had it a short time and used it only 3 times or so, but it is very pleasant to be next to and provides good heat (it heated the whole 300 SF room!). I am still figuring out how to start the heat flow correctly, but once it's going, it's going!

I bought this for the ambiance, not the heat output. I have a little ceramic heater in my bathroom that will make my legs too hot if I stand close to it for more than a minute or so. This will not do that. The heat it produces will not feel too hot to hold my hand right next to for an extended period of time, even at the highest level. I actually wish it had a little better heat output. The remote control is basic and very easy to use. As stated in another review, you cannot adjust temperature from the remote. It is simply on or off. All of that said, I really find the ambiance very nice and comforting to me; more than expected. I enjoy it day or night. These are great fake logs. I had my eye on a different set and then I took a trip and stayed in a cabin and the ones I had eyed looked cheap and I could tell even from a distance they were fake. So, I ordered these instead and we love them. They put out good heat for my living room. The fire looks real. I did attempt to put a mirror behind them in my fire place to look even better but all the mechanical part is in the back of it and it showed. I highly recommend these.
