I had several characteristics I wanted in new tableware: microwave and dishwasher safe, finished glazing on the bottom so as not to scratch our wood dining table, scratch resistant to silverware, no cups, pasta bowls and astetically pleasing for daily and guest use. After much research, and reviewing place settings, from a wide-variety of retailers, priced from $10-$150 plus per place setting, I am completely satisfied with these dishes. Some reviews mention that some large plates don't nest evenly, but given the cost and other qualities of the dishware, they are still a win. When stored, they are behind my cabinet doors and not overtly noticable in the first place. It doesn't impact their beauty on the table. Additionally some reviews mention plates cracking in the microwave. We only reheat food and do not "cook" the meal on the dishware and have not had issues. The plates and bowls are a good size. Nice weight to them. I received everything damage free. And I like that they added a card that stated, if something was damaged to send a picture to the email listed and they would send out a replacement. I took a star off, because of the color. I ordered what was supposed to be a light blue but actually looks to be a creamy white with a really light blue tinge. If I wasn't being lazy I would send them back and get the darker blue but yeh I am not going thru all of that. ... show more

I love the look and feel of these plates! My only problem is one of the smaller plates have this scratch in the paint. It really bugs me to the point where I don’t want to use it as much as the others. I have to get the pasta bowls because they are just too beautiful. I love them so much!

The plates and bowls are just what we wanted. The raised edges are perfect to help keep food on the plate. My issue is that to get a service of 12, it required three sets of dishes. Not a big deal, but I received three different shades of dishes. Two in the gray tones and one in a cream color. All boxes were labeled the same. We are making it work. ... show more
