I use this in a hot garage, not sure if that's the issue, but I open the door for my air conditioned house into a hot garage and walk to the washing machine which is about 10 ft in, and it still doesn't turn on. I believe I have the sensitivity at its highest. But it definitely does work, I just wish it was a little more sensitive đź‘Ť ... show more

I replaced a old pull string light switch with this motion sensor switch in a walk-in closet. The switch was easy to install and works great. I especially like the fact that you are able the adjust the amount of time the light remains on.

    • Misleading “Product Details”… read before buying

The “Product details” states “Adjustable time delay from 15 sec - 30 min.” This is misleading and only partially true. The sensor will ONLY turn off at 5 specific set points (15sec in test mode, or 5min, 10min, 20min or 30min). You CANNOT set it to go off at any other times. If for example you want the sensor to turn the light off 1 minute after you leave the room, this is not possible. The shortest time is 5 minutes. If you put it in “test mode” it turns the light off every 15 seconds EVEN IF you are standing under the sensor jumping up and down the entire time. The sensor does work, just not as advertised. It’s disappointing that Amazon chose this sensor as their “recommended” choice. ... show more
