This Stoneware is really beautiful, well made and has very modern appearance due to the evelated lip at the end - this and the colour are the two main reasons why I chose it (I have the reactive blue one). The set could be used as an everyday one, but also is suitable for an official occasion. The colour corresponds to the pictures, the size I'd perfect in my opinion, since I don't like huge stoneware plates. The big plates are heavy, but not more than usual and they don't leave the feeling of unnecessary thickness. The big plates are not so well stackable, due to their unique form, but this is not a problem for me. The small ones are stacking very well. I like that each piece has a small difference in colour or even shape - it's not as visible as by the sets, which are designed in that way, but it's noticeable without making the set look eclectic. I really like it, and I think it's worth the money. The set came very well packed without any damage and there was even a note to contact the producer, if some peace came broken, which is a really nice touch. I have been very impressed with the beauty and quality of these plates and bowls. They have subtle irregulars in shape and that feel like rustic and natural, as if they were handmade by an artistic craftsperson. They are both sturdy and elegant and faring well in the dishwasher and the microwave. One of the plates arrived with a little chip, but the company generously attended to the issue. I was very pleased with their prompt attention to my complaint and now will be purchasing a set of their pasta bowls to complete my set. I've been looking for an affordable but quality set of tableware and am grateful to have discovered Famiware Tempus tableware. ... show more

The description says this tableware is 'scratch resistant' which we found not to be the case. The tableware is dishwasher and microwave safe however, the plates do scratch when using utensils and/or in the dishwasher. The set is also not chip resistant. In the end, we liked the look of the tableware but would not buy another set given its not scratch resistant. We purchased this in the Linen finish so perhaps another color would fare better. ... show more
