I make cold brew coffee ( I also bought the Takeya Cold Brew Coffee airtight pitcher), and need something like this to store it in while I make the next week's batch. It does NOT leak, once you tighten it properly, and the twist-off top make it really easy to pour neatly. It is very sturdy, and fits nicely in my refrigerator door (I can actually fit two of these in there). This product is just what it says it is. Look and feel are sturdy and well made, simple and appealing design. Screw lid is smooth and easy to tighten/loosen and half open to click into pour mode is easy to find. I personally purchased this to use for short term breast milk storage in my refrigerator - works great for that so far - airtight, no leaks even when shaking/swirling a bit and has a clean pour without a lot of stray drips. I really love having this! The 4 QT pitchers were always too much, too bulkie and not kid friendly pouring like this one is! This is only 2qts so it's light weight even filled. As for the kid friendly pouring, you twist the lid open till it clicks. It only pours out of a small area so no big gulps of liquid like with other ones. Easy to take a part and clean and sometimes I can even turn the container upside-down while it's fully closed and shake it up a little when things settle on the bottom. I wouldn't do that for too long or too aggressively....but enough too loosen stuff up and I don't see any leaking. Not for side storage in the fridge, after holding it upside down for a few mins liquid did find a way out. ... show more

I’m really impressed with this 1 quart pitcher. It’s a PBA free plastic pitcher. If you refer to my pictures it shows how nice the top attaches to to the pitcher. The handle is a nice easy grip with a soft feel to hold. Where you place your finger it’s a soft feeling making it comfortable to grip & hold. The top reflects which way you turn to open & close it. I’m very impressed with this pitcher. The 1 quart size is perfect for making tea. It fits perfectly on the top shelf of my refrigerator & also the side door. I suggest measuring the length & dimension of the pitcher to determine if it fits in your refrigerator. It nicely pours my tea out with no leakage. I can lay it on its side with no leakage. It pours out nicely with no splatter. A nice smooth pour. For the price this is a quality pitcher for the price I paid. This was well worth the cost. I most definitely recommend.
