My only complaint with this set is that the matte finish doesnt stay. Fork and knives leave scratches easily on the plates. I would recommend getting the pearl finish over the matte

These plates are a huge disappointment. Sure, they look nice but as other reviews have stated, they immediately scratch the second any utensil even lightly grazes their surface. Just normal, very basic use of any utensil - we’re not even talking about cutting food with a knife. Oh, and the scratches *don’t* wash off, they stain, permanently. This seems unsafe, actually. I don’t know if this means it’s releasing sealant every time it scratches? No idea, but now we have to package them back up and deal with return. This is especially annoying because my husband - who doesn’t read reviews first 🙄 - already packed up all of our old dinnerware. ... show more
