I ordered this product to use as a reading light. The overall size of the scone is 2 and 15/16 inches in diameter and 2 inches deep. The actual light surface on both lights is 1 ¾ inches diameter. There are two methods for installation: you can mount it with 3M adhesive or screw the mount to the wall. The light scone attaches to the mount via a magnet connection which can rotate 360 degrees. I used the adhesive to mount the scone. There are two lighting modes: nightlight or reading light. The reading light has 3 different brightness settings which is active via the touch sensor or the remote control. The nightlight has only one light setting (warm) which is also active via the touch sensor or remote control. When using the remote control, I had to point it directly at the scone to active the settings. The remote’s range was approximately 18 feet. The scone has a fixed rechargeable battery therefore you can’t replace it. Also, the USB-C charging port is next to the scone’s magnetic connection. Therefore, it you desire to keep the scone plugged via the USB-C cable while using the reading light, you can but it will interfere with the rotation of the scone. I really liked the ability to position the scone in various directions. I don’t use the remote since the touch sensors work just fine. I am very satisfied with this purchase. ... show more

This thing is real cool. I installed it right above my son's bed so he can have a little reading light. All the varying levels of brightness and light types gets a good range so he can set it how he wants to ensure he can see what he's reading. When the battery dies, we just pull it off the magnet and charge it up for a bit and it's good to go again. ... show more

Pleased (so far) with these multi-functional, wireless, cordless, USB-rechargeable, remote-control wall spotlights from the FALLVI brand on Amazon. We installed these to light up two different mirrors in a darker area of our master bedroom. They're the ideal solution for this purpose. We can also see how they'd be perfect for illuminating wall art and other areas within the home, including bedside reading lamps with optional night lights! Here are just a few reasons why we like these so much, we ordered two: We're impressed by the "up and down" lights on both sides of the sconce, which you can activate to be lit simultaneously or individually. We also like the four brightness levels, in addition to three color choices (bright white, soft white, warm yellow light). Another great, innovative and very helpful feature is the magnetic, 360° rotatable ball, which is so useful for angling the light canister precisely where the lighting is best. Most of all, we love that these lights don't require AAA or AA batteries, that they are USB rechargeable. Environmentally friendly. It's also comforting to know that when we have a power surge, we still have light in the room. Just a tip: if you order two (as we did) and install them close together (as we did), you can operate both lights simultaneously using just one remote. I am going to put this on my front porch. It says not for indoor but it has a 6' overhang and snow doesn't even drift up there. There is no light and the landlord hasn't put a light years later so I'm going to handle my security. It seems like it will be perfect. I need to get a drill and install it
