These skins are worse than the super thin ones. They do not take ink well at all and make all the lines look faint and shakey. They also seem to break down wherever the needle pokes them and leave indents from it.

While this isn't my favorite fake skin I've tried, it definitely still works for its intended purpose. It takes ink and has a small amount of stretch so what else could I ask for? Like any other skin, it will stain a little bit but some petroleum jelly will clean it up the fastest and easiest. All of the sheets were individually wrapped and that is also appreciated The only think I don't like is how thick the layers are but that's more of a personal preference more than an actual complaint.

They're very thick and defy the logic of "if you go too deep it will show from the other side" type of training, so I wasn't stoked that my apprentice had to learn through this. Also, they don't hold ink too well if you're learning. You need to go kind of deeper than you would on skin. So make sure you don't forget that this does NOT feel like real skin. Don't butcher your friends/clients

My 16 year old is getting into tattooing. She's been practicing quite a bit and needed more skins, as she was running out of the set that came with her guns. Comparing this set to her other set, myself, I'd say this is definitely better quality. But I also don't know much about this stuff. I like that it's much thicker than the set she had prior. To me it feels more like an actual person, and not paper that she is practicing on. As a person may not have thick skin, but with everything under the skin it's a lot thicker then the paper thin skin she had previously. It just makes more sense to me. The color is a bit fair, but that shouldn't be an issue as it just resembles a person of fair skin. She likes the way it feels under her gun and she thinks it feels more like skin than her previous set. She's wanting me to order more, so that's a plus, and it's affordable enough to do so.
