Color: HB6 Banana Bag
Great bag, but filling took a bit of trial and error. I originally bought Vigaro shredded rubber mulch from Home Depot to fill this. With settling it easily too 9 bags. Each bag is about 20lbs, making the filled bag over 180lbs in weight. This was too heavy and hard. I dumped it all out and refilled it using a combination of rubber mulch and low density foam (do not use memory foam). What I did was line the bottom half with a cheap foam topper (from target) and fill the middle with the rubber mulch. The upper half of the bag I filled with mixture of rubber mulch and approx 4"x4" cut pieces of the low density foam by mixing it as well as I could (you might be able to get this foam as scrap from a foam/upholstery store. After initial settling of the rubber mulch I topped off the top 1' of the bag or so with only lo density foam so it keeps it shape. In the end I was left with a bag that was about 150lbs, which has some give to it while kicking. The low density foam I added made it feel like I was kicking a thigh, rather than a solid object. ... show more

Once I gotten this bad boy I wanted to fill it up to pound away on it. I did some research on what to fill it with. I've found that rubber mulch was best. I trained at a gym that used sand in them and after so many kicks from wear and tear the sand started to leak out. So rubber mulch is your best bet. If you're on a budget I go with torn up clothes. I thought 7 bags of rubber mulch would do but once it's settled it took about 9 bags to completely fill it. I'm happy with it, a must for any Martial Artist who just beginner all the way to us vets in this lovely sport. Build quality is great/nice thick zipper at top ... show more

Color: HB3 Black/Red
The black/red bag is not as advertised. It is the old style with black leather and white lettering. The picture shows red leather and yellow lettering which is why I purchased them because they match my gym colors. Returning them because it's not as advertised. Quality on Fairtex is great though.

This "pole" bag will not go around a pole unless that pole can be unsecured. It is false advertising as far as I'm concerned because the vast majority of poles anyone would want to use, are secured. I'm not disconnecting my house from the support pole in the basement just to install this trash because the manufacturer couldn't be bothered to make it wrap around. I ordered the green banana bag. Color is not as vibrant as pictured, but not as bad as I saw described in another review. It was delivered in about 3 days, much faster than projected. Filled with rubber mulch, it’s pretty solid.
