    • Spring does nothing in upper portion of the bed

This bed is fine. It is nearly identical to the other 6 that I have bought from various sellers over the years. It seems that there are dozens or hundreds of retailers for the same (or very similar) beds made in China. My complaint with this one is that the spring on the upper portion of the bed (the “back” of the chair) is the wrong spring and does not function. Anybody familiar with these beds knows how this is supposed to work. The spring holds the locking rod against the stops so that the rod snaps into each locking position as you move the back or the foot up and down. Because the back goes up and the foot goes down, they each require a specific spring length and configuration. The one for the foot is long and anchored on center. The one for the back needs to be short and anchored on an angle. This bed came with two identical spring configurations. It works fine for the foot but does not function for the back. In my photo, you can see that the spring is too long in the back and is in the way making operation difficult. In the product photos, it clearly shows that the back spring is the correct one but I was delivered the wrong part. What can I do about this? This item is too bulky to return and I cannot seem to contact anybody about it so I am leaving this review instead.     • Don’t do it
The back of the chair just drops flat if you don’t pay very close attention to placement. Any slight movement and it also falls flat
