Crushes ice no problem, easy to use, but as others have said, tray doesn't catch the ice and isn't positioned well, and ice will also fly out top, and then water will drip out at end (missing tray) getting everything wet. I remember to hold tray up close, and use a papertowel to sop up water afterwards.

I love this machine. It shaves my plain Jane ice tray ice wwonderfully. It is important to note that using less pressure on the little door while the machine is shaving will result in bigger pieces of ice. This is excellent for anyone who, like me is obsessed with shaved ice.

I bought this in 2018 and now it is 2021. My daughter likes to eat plain ice. This has been one of my very best Amazon purchases ever. We have snow anytime we want it. It is so convenient because you just use ice cubs. It still works like brand new.
