The mat is a good size and good quality. I wouldn’t say it’s the best but the price was right. It is thin and so when the heating element is on for my coffee maker, it does still get super hot on the counter. I was hoping it would provide a bit more protection for the counter. It did come rolled up and the edges are still flimsy and folded over a bit. It doesn’t bother me too much and really doesn’t affect the look. The color is a true black.
