Very white and clean. Thick and sturdy and the size fits fine. Had to create a new hole in a few but that's because the builder did a sloppy job originally. They should last another 10 to 20 years if I don't move out yet.

This is a fairly sturdy register. The size and fit (10"x6" in our case) is spot-on, and installation is, pretty much, a breeze. The one concern, as noted in other reviews, is that the screws seem a bit on the narrow side. They are often loose when trying to screw into the holes built into the duct, leading me to go back and use the screws from the previous vent cover. I'm not sure if it is the diameter of the screw, the threading, or something else. However, this is a minor issue, and can easily be rectified with another set of screws. Another concern, and this is definitely one to take note of, is that the shipping and packing is atrocious. I had five of these in my first order, and they were all thrown, loose with no packing, into the same box. As you can imagine, white painted, metal registers don't like bumping around into each other in transit. Out of the 5, 2 were dented and or scratched. I returned them and Amazon sent two more. Again, no packing, and one of them was dented and scratched and had to go back. At this point, it is likely that Amazon has lost money on this, all because someone at the warehouse either didn't (or wasn't allowed to) put packing paper in-between each item. In hindsight, I should've just returned them all and gone to a big box hardware store, but I already have three installed (and they DO look nice) and would prefer to have a matching set. ... show more
