The EZ Flate CASE is sturdily built and comes in a convenient and easy to pack case. It weighs about 26 pounds so it's no lightweight. Used with the matching Recoil hose kit, it inflated a set of 4 Bronco Sasquatch 33" tires from 16psi to 39psi in just 7 minutes. It is also easily transportable between multiple vehicles so you only need one for all your rigs.     • Robust unit with a few issues
Style: C.A.S.E.
This compressor is amazingly fast and easily handles higher tire pressures. However there are a few issues that should be mentioned. The biggest trade off is the size and weight of the unit. If you plan to inflate larger truck tires it’s definitely a great choice. My needs include 65 psi travel trailer tires which are a breeze. A bothersome issue is the type of on/off switch used, which is push on - push off with no indication which position the switch is in. You may get a rude awakening when attacking the battery clamps. More serious however is that the hose which has an internal metal braid shield connects electrically to the end leader (with an external metal braid) and to the metal in the inflator all of which is grounded inside the unit to the negative terminal connection. The instructions clearly say to first attach the hose then the battery clips and finally press the on button. If you do this you have a 50/50 chance that the compressor fires up when you attach the battery clips. If the hose braid is touching metal on your vehicle it can spark over creating a hazard. I’ve taken to attaching the power clips before attaching the hose. Unfortunately the first time I needed to use this was too long after buying it and I threw out the box or I’d rather return the whole thing. ... show more
