This balm works well, but only if used a couple of times a day, every day for several weeks. It doesn't have an unpleasant odor, but my dogs resist me putting it on. I just don't think they like it much. I think it works in that basically, it lays down a waterproof layer that the tears can't seep through and the old tear stains underneath eventually wear off and grow new hair...or they just get light enough that they don't really stand out because they are not getting more and more layers of the tearing built up. Easy to use, but I find that I don't always remember to put it on and so then I've knocked myself back in progress each time I forget to put it on. Seems to be made well and is reasonably priced. This product works well... I highly recommend it, I hated her tear stains in her eyes and I found this product and after a month of treatment these tear stains disappeared, I recorded the evolution and you can see the change.

I had high hopes for the GJYC PET Eye Tear Stain Remover Balm, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. Instead of a cleaner, it's more like a balm, which can make things worse for pets with long hair around their eyes. The product's description could be misleading, as it's better suited for moisturizing than cleaning. Additionally, the smell isn't very pleasant. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it for removing tear stains, but it might work as a moisturizer for other areas. ... show more
