The right winch is important, and so is the mount you use with it. The proper winch mount maximizes winch performance and safety, and seamlessly integrates your winch with your ATV. This Extreme Max ATV winch mount fits select for select Polaris Sportsman ATVs. (See fit chart in second image for complete information.) Will work with all OEM Brushguard and Double Tube Bumpers, designed to meet OEM mounting requirements, will work with Glacier Plow. For use with all ATV winches from 2000 - 3600 pounds with 4-hole (3.00" x 4.875") or 2-hole (3.10" x 4.875") standard mounting pattern. Designed for use with roller fairleads with 4.875" mounting. Features 10-gauge steel construction and tough black powder coat for lasting performance. Designed for easy installation, installation instructions included. Need a new winch? Boles to the frame fine. But needed to drill new holes for everything else. And it was a slight struggle. Using with a 2024 Polaris Sportsman 570 base with front brush guard.

The mount itself was built well but The fit up was poor. As you can see by the photos I had to grind the mount to make it fit. I was about to send it back, but after further investigation I could see it was not the mount at all, but the Polaris frame itself was poorly built ! The framing was off a good 1/4 inch from left to right which prevented The bolt holes from lining up properly. Extreme Max’s manufacturing tolerance might be too tight, and Polaris should look into tightening there manufacturing tolerance up. I personally was a former welder for a competitor so I know something about fixture welding frame parts. Very poor quality on Polaris’s part. It was a headache to install but I made it work.     • Pretty sturdy but now I see why it is frequently returned.
I now see why this was marked as frequently returned. This mount technically fits but just BARELY. Took some of my own bending and I even made a new little bracket for the bottom two holes that didn't line up. Very sturdy though seems fairly well made. Still beats the brakes off the price you would pay for a Polaris branded part like this. Just really depends on how much time you would like to spend on this project. If money is no problem for ya, go to polaris and get the right mount. ... show more
