    • An amazing machine.
All I can say is that I'm thankful for the makers of this machine. Amazingly it's being helping me with all my old injuries I got from lifting weights, I'm currently treating my lower back and it's being helping a lot with my spine issues. I do recommend this product, the sellers really take good care of you as a customer. Trust me they do so don't hesitate to buy from this brand and seller. I don't regret investing on this machine. I also notice improvements with erections, so it does help, if you're going to treat your friend down there start at the slow pace setting and then increase the speed as you start getting use to it.     • Use a .22 pistol cleaning kit with patch to clean the bore of the "gun"
Purchased for DYI ED treatments. On initial test, the unit didn't work. I could hear the pump running and the pulsing of the air flow but the pellet was stuck in the bore of the gun. I removed the head and tried to dislodge the pellet by tapping the gun on a hard surface but no luck, so I turned on the power and set the pressure to 3 or 4 and pointed the gun down into a folded rag. Triggered the unit and POP the pellet shot out into the rag. CAUTION: NEVER look into the barrel with the unit turned on. If you accidentally shoot the pellet into your face you will almost certainly be blinded and maybe worse! The pellet shoots out with considerable force. I use a .22 caliber pistol cleaning kit to clean the bore of the handle. On the first cleaning, I got a good bit of machining debris from the bore that was causing the pellet to stick. Once cleaned and oiled, the machine works fine. I clean the bore before each use with the .22 cleaning kit and use a couple drops of quality oil and have no problems. Also, with prolonged use the head may unscrew resulting in loss of effective impulse. I put a piece of blue painter's paint around the barrel to keep the head from unscrewing. I'm 74 and sildenafil has become less effective for me so I bought this to combat ED. Google searches reveal GainsWave ads that say DYI ED treatments don't work. Don't believe it! After the first treatment I noticed an improvement. Now after two months, two or three treatments per week, I've reached the point of diminishing returns where I no longer notice any significant improvement so I'm doing monthly "maintenance" treatments. For ED treatments, you'll have to learn a little biology of your relevant body part. Research Low Intensity Shockwave Therapy ED and Corpora Cavernosa. The better you understand the anatomy, the greater your likelihood of success in treating for ED. Have reasonable expectations. You're not going to be 20 again! The improvement is incremental, maybe 20% improvement or so. If you think you're going to get back to your youth, you'll be disappointed, but in my case the improvement has been worth the cost and time invested. I was immediately aware of changes after only the first or second treatments. Now after two months of two or three treatments per week, I can't tell much change so I'm droppng back to a "maintenance schedule" of one treatment per month. Literature calls for 1500 to 3000 impulses per treatment. I do up to 7500 strokes at 6.5 or 7.5 Bar using the smallest (#1) head. I don't use lidocaine. There may be some discomfort but not severe. If your member is a little red after treatment, you're getting results. Good luck. I'm happy with my results. ... show more

This machine is UNSAFE. I used it at the base settings provided on the machine for a whopping 20 seconds and THIS is what happened to my knee. If I used it any longer it likely would’ve caused severe damage! operating instructions are also very vague and in extremely disorganized English. Have only had for a few months to this point but the machine seems very well built. Questions sent to the customer service email are promptly answered and replacement parts are available. Only thing that might help is a bit more detail on how certain settings (Strength Settings, Frequency Settings) impact the desired results. But of course, that can be researched on many sites. Very effective on my rotator cuff and golfers elbow. I was seeing my doc weekly for a couple of months for the same therapy on his $30k machine. He is a wonderful doctor. I’ll miss him. But this machine is just as effective.

    • Good purpose but doesn' last
This is an edited review. this machine is magnificent! It helps me greatly with clients. The issues I had was that while the machine was still perfect, the handle and heads are getting worn out after 7 months. I was frustrated because I didn't want to buy a new machine every 7 months. So the company actually contacted ME, and immediately within a day or two made the parts available on Amazon. THAT is a blessing indeed! I don't mind replacing parts every 7 months, because it is normal for these things to wear out. This company is a pleasure to deal with, and this machine is worth every single penny. I am using this unit in a medical facility without any problems at all. The unit looks professionally made with quality materials. Save thousands of dollars vs the price of one from a large company. The unit is rather loud so I suggest using it in a room in which you can close the door for sound control. Patients seem to feel improvement with every treatment.
