I received the filter completely assembled. I just took it out of the package and plug. I opened each of the filters to be sure there was not packing inside, the filters were ready for use. I noticed the gaskets were very well tied up and somehow difficult to unscrew them by being careful not to damage the plumbing. I applied some of lithium grease that made it easy to screw back and I guess will make things easier to open in a few months when I need to change the filter. The pressure gauges are a nice touch. I am planning to use the measures as guide to when to change the filters. The filters are mounted in a nice frame stainless steel on top. It looks pretty and sturdy. I installed outside, I am in Florida close to the ocean. I added a cover with insulation that straps on the sides to protect from the elements. At the first sign of corrosion, I am planning to paint the whole frame with Rust-Oil paint. I have done so with my sprinkle and pool pumps, and it makes the equipment last and keep them neat. I just installed the filter, 12 hours ago, I still have no feedback about the water quality, I will update my review as I know more. ... show more

added to my house and it is working wonders my ppms dropped from 720ish to around 500ish on big city water supply. now the water is actually ok for my skin and does not cause me to dry out. my chemical sensitivities are ok with this filter. I would recommend for your skin if you have alot of scale. not sure about how long filter will last I will update in the future. my water pressure has not dropped with this filter installed. I used all 1" pex connections had 2.10gpm before filter now I have 2.16gpm. this filter has not reduced my pressure been in use a week. I will take pressure readings at 6 months and 12 months and see how it drops or what it does. ... show more

After debating on getting a water filtration system for our house and reading tons of reviews we went with this one. I wish I had taken a picture of before on the water test but had only limited time to test and start to install the system. The before the water was had an oder (like most well water does) taste wasn't that great and left iron rings in the tub's, sinks and toilets. Now on to the good stuff. The system came completely assembled in the stainless steel frame which is a big plus. The gauges were already installed, filters, housings ect.. all your left to get is the fittings and plumbing materials..Let me make a strong suggestion use the shark bite fittings and PEX tubing, yes it's a little bit more but will allow for some flexibility and way easier servicing in the long run. After everything was installed and hooked up I turned on the main valve going to the house slowly and then let it start filling the filters up. Once you start seeing water press the relief buttons on top to keep it from air locking and to help fill fast. Once everything was done and bleed the whole house I already noticed a difference later that evening. Fast forward to now 3 weeks now and WOW!! What a difference we can drink the water now closes smell better and no more rings in the toilet, tubs and showers. Food tastes better as well due to how much we cook all the time. So now this saves us almost 2 hours running to town to fill 10 5gal jugs every weekend. Wish I would of done this sooner cause its worth every penny we spent. Now were looking into a water softener from them to complete our system. I included a couple photos of how I did my system and mine is outside but I built it's own shed protected from the sun and cold. Also a picture of the water test as of now. You will see the hardness is way up there but were going to be getting a softer this week. Hopefully this helps someone make a decision like it did for me reading others. Also to note there customer service is the best Ive ever delt with, extremely friendly and made sure our system was working properly and that we were happy with it. So for the price you get alot of Bang for the buck and a product that really works great. ... show more
