My hose came out of the package with a broken hose holder and the hose was only 19feet. Now unless it more than doubles in size which mine does not it is not 50ft. Ugh. And now it is out of stock

It is very lightweight, it filled and unlinks without a problem. The carrying hanger and a good spray nozzle are nice add ones. As far as durability, check back in 6 months. To date, I have no problems with ripping, snagging, runs, etc. But I haven’t tried jump rope with it either. Seriously- compared to others I have owned, it is the lightest, a good length, and looks to be above average in quality and value. ... show more

This water hose is lightweight. The brass ends seem a bit thin. The garden sprayer that came with it is a typical sprayer. I do like the bag it came with for storage. I haven’t been able to hook it up yet because of the cold weather, but I will be using it in my garden. Hopefully it will last a few seasons. ... show more

This is a really nice quality garden hose and includes a sprayer nozzle and shut off valve. The hose is lightweight, making it easy to carry and to store. The nozzle has 10 sprayer settings and has good pressure for watering or spraying debris off of the patio and windows. The media could not be loaded. This is a typical expandable hose so I don’t expect it to last any longer than one purchased elsewhere. It has a great on/off switch though, so you can disconnect the nozzle attachment without having to turn the water off at the source first. This is a feature I use a lot since I use this type of hose to fill water tanks on a boat (no nozzle needed). It arrived very quickly and has no chemical smell. ... show more

    • Best hose I've ever used (people allergic to latex should use care since it has a latex inner core)
This is a nice quality hose that can definitely expand and extend. The hose does not knot/kink like normal rubber hoses, has great water pressure, and doesn’t leak out of the box. The optional nozzle has multiple spraying options and they all work pretty well. The hose material is high quality and the connectors are really well-made and didn't leak at all. This is probably the best hose I have ever used. It's so much nicer than a regular hose. I like that it shrinks down when not in use for easier storage. The inner core is made of latex so it probably would not be good for someone with a latex allergy to drink water from this hose. Hopefully most people don't drink from hoses but kids do it a lot, and people gardening out in the heat sometimes do too, so if you have a latex allergy be mindful to not drink from this hose. I don't know if using the hose could cause an allergic reaction in someone allergic to latex (it says it's just in the inner core). Depending on the severity of the allergy I imagine that hose water from this hose could be irritating to someone with an extreme allergy. I'm not allergic to latex so it is not important to me, however I notice things like this since my best friend is allergic to latex. She's so sensitive to latex that she even got a latex allergy tattoo in case she's ever has an emergency that renders her unconscious, and even party balloons can cause an allergic reaction for her. Thankfully she doesn't do garden work with me, so it's a non-issue for me, but I thought I would point it out just in case it helps someone else. ... show more

This comes with many accessories like a carrying handle and a multi-pattern nozzle. Overall the weight is very much in line with other expanding hoses the texture of the hose is quite soft but after using it multiple times already I have not experienced any leaks. This does come with additional gaskets which is a nice touch. One thing I really like is the the end of the hose has a valve that you can shut off the water at the outlet side of the hose. The valve switch is actually set far enough back that it still operates even is there is a large connecter like a pressure washer or a dial and spray type handle. Which is so much nicer than my last hose where putting anything with a large would block the valve switch. Definitely recommend if you also need the accessories. ... show more

This is a very well-made expanding/contracting hose that comes with a hangar for storing the hose when not in use, some extra sealing rings, and a nozzle with 10 spray patterns, all in a nice, drawstring bag. The hose has brass fittings at both ends including a shutoff valve for the end by the nozzle so you can remove the nozzle without turning off the valve at the faucet. The hose is very short when contracted and extends to its full length via the water pressure. When the water pressure is turned off, the hose contracts pushing out any remaining water to return to the shorter length making it easy to store. This expand/contract system also help to avoid kinks and tangles. The nozzle also performed well offering a wide variety of spray patterns including a powerful jet, gentle mist, and many options in between. Overall, the hose performed well. There were no leaks from the connections and no snags or tears in the hose even after pulled it across the edges of my stone patio. I highly recommend this hose/nozzle set. ... show more
