EDIT: Ok, I clicked on the item in my order after posting this review, and for some reason now it's going to a totally different hose than the one that I got here. The one that I got is silver metal and 25ft long, the listing is now for a 100ft long blue rubber hose. What? Something questionable is going on here. I will leave my review and rating intact, but know that if you are buying anything other than a 25ft silver metal hose, this review is not applicable. The rubber hose that we keep out in our back yard is getting pretty old and has a lot of problems with kinking when we try to use it. So when this popped up, it seemed like a great idea – with the metal around it, surely kinks will be less of a problem. And that seems to indeed be the case. I tried to kink it, but the metal kept it from happening. Yay! Beyond that, it's a hose. It attaches to the faucet, water runs through it... seems good. I haven't had a chance to try the spray nozzle yet (it really wasn't why I bought this), but it looks pretty solid. The only problem is that I didn't have a good concept of length apparently, and thought 25ft would be longer than it is. Unfortunately, that means that this doesn't reach all the way across even our very small yard. So I may have to look into getting another longer one. The moral to this story: measure to figure out what you need before ordering!

I was concerned about the hose inner diameter. Residential hoses commonly come in three sizes, as I understand: ½ inch, 5/8 inch, and ¾ inch. The ¾ size passes a lot of water—and the hose is larger in diameter and harder to handle than the smaller diameter hoses. Most people appear to use 5/8 inch as a trade-off between volume and ease of handling. This hose appears from the text to be 3/8” inner diameter. Not as much water flow, but I had a use in mind where a big volume of water wasn’t important. I have dogs, and about 800 SF of deck where they spend their time along with lots of potted plants. I’ve had dogs who decided that the hose was appetizing (uggg). They haven’t eaten through a hose, but I really wanted to discourage them. Bingo! A metal-covered hose seems like a great way to avoid dog problems. I tried it out, and the dogs ignored the hose (maybe less smell than a rubber or rubber-type material hose?). The hose doesn’t kink and can be coiled and maneuvered around easily. It does seem a lot lighter than the rubber hose I was using on the deck, but I couldn’t do a weight-to-weight comparison. I use a ‘Tub’ (recycled truck tire tub with two handles that seem to be sold everywhere) and coil the hose inside. Shiny color inside a black tub makes a nice contrast. The sprayer attachment seems fine. I squeeze and water comes out. The sprayer head changes easily from one pattern to another. I think that the quality of the sprayer for me needs to be judged over time. In conclusion, this seems to be a lighter weight, more aesthetically pleasing hose for dealing with the water needs on my deck.

Since it's dead winter here, I'll give a quick review just out of box. The item I'm reviewing is a 50 foot stainless steel hose. After I chose this, the listing changed to a seemingly regular rubber sort of garden hose. Choice of blue or green in color. Sometimes suppliers change what's listed. This stainless hose is very lightweight. Not flimsy, but you won't feel like you're pulling an anchor around like the old rubber hoses. The nozzle it comes with is plastic. It has textured rubber gripping on the handle so it's easier to keep a hold on it. It fits snuggly on the one end. The couplers at the ends are a thicker feeling metal. So a hose, it's steel, lightweight, doesn't fold or kink when using. It comes with a lifetime warranty, as well.

I am reviewing the 50' stainless steel garden hose with aluminum nozzle. As of right now I highly rate this stainless steel water hose. This hose is going to be housed in a salt water area of the country and frankly everything rusts and corrodes here. I am hoping longevity will be key for this hose which will be store 3/4 of the time. First impressions usage: comes with extra rubber hose gaskets (sweet!). Comes with a very nice nozzle - which will hopefully stand the test of time. We all know how nozzles can perform poorly over time so time will tell. The connectivity was seamless, no leakage at the spigot after tightening. Stores easily in a smallish plastic basket that formerly held one of those expandable fabric + rubber hoses that did not stand the test of time. Hose contracts somewhat when the water is released from its' length. Spray with the nozzle on was consistent, even. There seemed to be decent power coming from the hose spray on the jet setting. The shower setting was great too. Easily rinsed off our new AC unit (to prevent from, you guessed it, saltwater environment corrosion). Easily sprayed down a dusty plastic shelf unit with no issue and quickly. OVerall very pleased. If over a decent amount of time this hose disappoints I will update my review accordingly.
