You never know how these sizes are going to be sometimes until the order shows up. I normally wear an XL but I gambled on sizing up and I lost. It is huge. This is a very light weight jacket and has a very nice feel to it but it will be of no use to me because it is way too big.

I thought this would be a fashionable coat to wear in the fall. It’s much thinner than I expected. It is also bigger than I expected. If you have a bulky sweater under it, the coat will probably still fit. This is more of a fashion piece than a coat for any kind of cool weather.

Since I know clothing manufactured in Asia tends to run small, I ordered this in a size XL. I'm 5'4", 150 lbs and bigger on the bottom than the top. Unfortunately, this thing is absolutely enormous. I think I could've stuck with a size M and been just fine. Sad because it's quite nice. It's completely synthetic (a combination of Terylene and Rayon), but feels almost like a lightweight wool gabardine. The finish is very smooth and a bit silky/shiny. It has an interesting structure, the sleeves being built into the coat itself rather than separate pieces. The top stitching is straight and tight, the lining fabric looks good and the buttons are sewn on reasonably well. Really, my only complaint (aside from the fact that this doesn't fit me at all) is the pockets, which are oddly shallow. But other than that, a very nice piece. Unless you have very large arms or a broad back, I'd recommend ordering this in your normal size.

If you are a larger woman as I am, I recommend buying this at least once size up from normal. It is very tight at the shoulders and doesn't have any give due to the material. Having said that though, this thing looks like a million bucks. Material is very smooth and silky, big buttons and perfectly cut. While I will be wearing it open, when closed, it looks like something off the runway. Great price for the quality.

Somehow, I thought this jacket would look better. I hangs like a trench coat, so it is not flattering. Makes it look like you're trying to hide something. I just don't like it. Surprising, because this brand has LOTS of beautiful clothes!
