I charged it with the charger that was provided, carefully selected a path that was unobstructed through the yard, and began by practicing on the front lawn to get a feel for it. In my experience, the beginning has been reliable. When you are able to start straight away, you are able to maintain momentum, and the whole session seems more relaxed. I was able to maintain a consistent walking speed and concentrate on overlap rather than pausing to reset or rethink how to start going. The cut seemed to be even over the whole lawn during that first run, and I did not notice any odd missing strips that would need me to make further passes. I also made adjustments to the height of the cutting between the parts. There are a few uneven parts in the backyard, and I want a higher cut to prevent catching high points. My front portion is flatter, and I like it somewhat shorter. On the other hand, the cut in the backyard is higher. I was able to make the modification in such a short amount of time that I actually employed it during the session, and thereafter, the grass seemed to be more consistent. Following a few warm days during which growth accelerated, the second session is the one that often indicates whether or not a cordless mower is capable of keeping up with the growth of the grass. After adjusting my strategy, I went into it with expectations that were grounded in reality. Even when I slowed down and made passes that were significantly narrower, the mower was still able to do the task without coming into conflict with me. Because it is not the sort of mower that urges you to race through a yard that has been ignored at full speed, it maintains its efficiency and control even when it is being maintained in a regular manner. ... show more

I absolutely love this cordless lawn mower! From the moment I took it out of the box, I could tell the build quality is really good - it feels sturdy and well made, not cheap at all. I was also very happy that it comes with two batteries which is super convenient. With both batteries, I can easily mow both my front and back yard in one go without stressing about the battery dying halfway through. One of my favorite things about this mower is how quiet it is compared to my old gas mower. No loud engine noise, no strong gas smell, and no yanking on a cord to get it started. I can mow early in the morning or later in the day without bothering my neighbors. It's such a relief. It is also lightweight and portable, which makes it really easy for me to push, turn, and carry around when needed. Even if I am not super strong, this mower is very manageable. This cordless lawn mower is amazing and deserves five stars because it makes cutting grass so much easier and more enjoyable. The build feels very strong and durable, and the blades are sharp and work smoothly, cutting the grass evenly without leaving clumps. It has a good-sized deck that handles my small yard perfectly, and the grass clippings go straight into the large collection bag, which holds a lot so I don’t need to stop and empty it too often. The mower comes with rechargeable batteries, and they give enough power to finish both the front and back yards without running out, which is very convenient.
