Quality materials and good design this is an easy upgrade for your air intake. Easy to install and best bang for your buck when it comes to easy upgrades. This is one of the first upgrades where you will see an actual difference in performance. The reusable washable filters will save you money over time all while giving you better filter function in higher performance out of your truck. This cold air intake. Functions just as well as the well-known name brands but is half the price with the same quality and same performance as those other guys. I have had several evil energy products now and I honestly cannot see a difference between them and the well-known brands. Truth be known they're probably made on the same manufacturing lines. This product and cold air intake greatly enhanced the sound of the turbo without being obnoxiously loud.

Installed this on a 2000 Dodge 2500 work truck, but gets driven 5 days a week and 500+ miles a week. So I am able to notice even the slightest changes in how it drives and the gas mileage. And there was a lot to notice. Right off the rip too. The kit itself was a perfect fit. Everything lined up good enough to where nothing had to be altered or forced. Pretty much perfect lineup on everything. Better then some out there, that's for sure. Installed easily and took about 15 minutes in all to remove the original and install this kit. Only needed a couple hand tools to do it all. It adds a little bit of horsepower and increased miles per gallon. Not a huge amount on either but enough to pay for itself in the near future. So really can't go wrong. Best feature this kit provides is the massive sound increase and intake noise. It has a very loud growl in the lower RPMs. The intake kit matches up inside the engine bay perfectly so that's a plus too. Just looks like a performance upgraded part from the factory. Being a short intake means faster and easier air, and even more air flow than OEM box that the big engine needs so badly.... and more power!!! And to mention, again, the massive sounds as previously described. It's precise fit and quality design is why I went with this one. It's an excellent value for the money! Can't think of any other way to get combination of performance increase, gas mileage increase, and audible awesomeness. Another feature I am really liking now is the pre filter bag that goes over the filter. It catches all the bugs that quickly get so dry the crunch apart and get caught into the filter so easily. So a quick brush off of things like bugs and leave particles come off with ease rather than getting sucked into the pleates of the filter. Great idea!

This ENERGY Cold Air Intake is a fantastic upgrade for my 1994–2002 Dodge Ram with the 5.9L engine. Right out of the box, everything was well-packaged and included all the necessary components, making installation pretty straightforward even for someone with basic mechanical experience. The improvement in airflow is noticeable almost immediately. The engine feels more responsive, with better acceleration and smoother power delivery, especially when towing or getting up to highway speeds. The added heat shield is a great feature, helping keep intake temps lower and improving overall efficiency. I also like that it comes with a pre-filter for extra protection. Build quality is solid, and the black finish gives it a clean, aggressive look under the hood. It also adds a nice, deeper intake sound without being overly loud or annoying. Overall, this is a great value upgrade that delivers on performance, looks, and ease of installation. Definitely worth it if you’re looking to wake up your truck a bit.

This intake box/filter fit perfect, easy instructions included, all parts included except for these- (uses stock hose, And airbox rubber grommets). Filter is nice, pre filter fit perfect, looks great, fit great and I can hear allot more turbo noise! Overall 5/5
