Went a bit overkill with the wattage, but, that's a good practice in my opinion and experience. My previous PSU was bought from super flower dead in one and a half years. However this one might also be made by super flower, but the warranty is based in the US. For the previous one, I had spent more than 2 weeks on the RMA process, and not worked out.

I purchased this with the intention of preparing for the more power hungry cpu's and gpu's because it was a good price, its very quiet and for reasons I can't explain because I'm not Steve from gamer nexus everything is running quieter and cooler. I dont know if I will ever need 1300 watts but I have it. 3/25/23 I have been troubleshooting my PC for over a week, windows was giving the most random error that I would read, and it pointed to faulty power supply, tested every component twice because I just knew it couldn't be my 1300 watt PSU, because I run my cpu in eco mode, run GPU in quiet mode, no overclocking but I humored myself and swapped to my backup systems PSU, and everything ran, no shutdowns or blue screens, put my 1300 watt in my backup psu, and guess what, random shutdowns and bluescreens. It had been doing the shutdowns with the previous setup but again, I just knew it couldn't be the PSU , do better EVGA. I Started an RMA, register your components folks, you never know ... show more
