PROS: - Perfect match for 1440P @ 144 Hz gaming Ultra settings - 11GB GDDR5X VRAM - 9 Thermal Sensors - Precision XOC Software allows full control and monitoring of GPU - 3 Cooling Fans, each one can have a custom fan curve independent or linked to one another - 3 Thermal RGB LEDs allow you to monitor the temperature of the GPU, PWR, and MEM all at a glance. Fully customizable - RGB logo on top and backplate, fully customizable - EVGA only fuse to protect the card from incorrect installation or failing component like PSU - Standard 3 year warranty included, can be extended to 5 years for $30 or 10 years for $60 after registering CONS: - It's a big card! This thing is a monster went from a 950 to this, run Apex Legends around 120 frames at max settings. Install is easy once you know what to do, I will say though that for me my cables that plugged into the GPU itself were hidden from me. At first, I freaked out and couldn't find the PCIe cables for the GPU but after looking for them the company that put my rig together hid them out of sight. Also make sure you measure everything, this GPU is massive and if you don't have a big enough case you're out of luck. Once it's all installed download the drivers and restart, after that download EVGA Precision X1. Absolutely amazing software, monitors everything for you and controls LED's. The GPU can get somewhat hot, just make sure you have at least a few fans in your computer as I'm sure most do but just a word of caution (The fans on the GPU are not going to be enough). No complaints thus far, software is easy to use, of course performance is amazing. I would also buy the EVGA extended warranty, I bought mine for around $70 for 5 years just to make sure I'm covered in case it does die on me. Overall I know it costs alot but damn if you get the chance snag it, absolutely amazing how much better the graphics are on any game you play. ... show more

was torn between the ftw3, sc2 and sc2 hybrid, ended up going with the ftw3 and am very happy with my choice. preformance wise its pascal and a 1080ti so you all must know what it can do. i dont have a 4k monitor so i cant give you any reviews on that but at 1440 and 1080 it plays anything you throw at it. my card boost to 1999mhz out of the box and with a small tweak on after burner ( i prefer it over evga xoc) have card to 2010 and can most likley squeze more oit of it but im fine with it were it is. card runs very cool even under load and is not very loud ( to me atleast) even when all 3 fans are maxed out.the 9 thermal sensors are nice but i havent done much with them yet and card has 3 leds on the front by the 8pin connectors that can give u a quick idea of how ya temps are. looks wise i love the look of the card and some ppl might be turned off by it but i love the big rbg logo on the that screams evga gtx 1080ti. i upgraded to this from a msi gaming z 1080. my system i7 6800k@ 4.1 corsair h115i msi x99 xpower gaming titanium evga 1080ti ftw3 32 gigs of corsair vengance led @3200mhz samsung 960evo 500gb evga supernova 850p2 ... show more

Bought one of these to run 3 144hz 27 inch 1080p monitors. Insta overclock to 1999 mhz via that EVGA Precision X (just before it crashed, lol) Then I keep an eye on temps and fan curve in Afterburner. I have good to great air flow in my white corsair c70 mid tower case so I have never seen this card over 70c after 8 hour gaming sessions. Umm, so this card is enormous. Make sure you got room. My previous card was the 980 Kingpin and I thought that card was gigantic, this card is 20-30% bigger. I have not run a lot of synthetic benchmarks but it runs my 3 monitors spanned butter smooth. I play Witcher 3, Subnautica (single monitor only :(, early access game without support yet), and Mass Effect: Andromeda. ME gets about 80 FPS after it all warms up. I have a lot of other games too but these are the only ones I've really played since I got the FTW3. I've got this paired with a 6850k, AS Rock x99 Taichi, 16 GB DDR4 3200mhz Corsair Dominator RAM, and Samsung SSDs for boot and game storage and I spend entirely too much time and money on this machine. With the FTW3 as my GPU, this machine is a blast and totally worth it! EVGA comes through again but I have not come to expect anything less from them. ... show more

This card is a BEAST. I have NEVER played games at the rate that this thing does. I didn't even know games could look the way they do, it's surreal. I always wanted a gaming computer growing up, and finally had the money to do it. My build consists of: Intel Core i7-7700k w/ Corsair H110i Liquid Cooler EVGA Geforce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 32 GBs 3200mhz DDR4 Ram 2x 256GB Crucial SSDs Dell S2716DGR (27" TN Panel with G-Sync) I have been able to play every single game on ULTRA settings, pretty much without question. This card had all sorts of ways to quickly tell you the current running condition of the card via the EVGA software or simply looking at the 3 temperature indicating LEDs in the card (assuming your case has a window). I've read reviews about EVGA cards overheating, but I'm gonna go ahead and guess those people had poor cooling set-ups. I've never seen this card get anywhere close to overheating. It doesn't break a sweat. If you're spending this much money on a card, do yourself a massive favor, and get a G-Sync Monitor. G-Sycn matches the screens refresh rate with whatever the current frame rate is of the card at any given moment. Screen tearing and stuttering becomes entirely null and void, and you'll never believe how smooth your games really could be. I purchased a Dell 27" S2716DGR for cheap on eBay, and it blew me away. In the end, this card will take any gaming experience you've had prior to this, crush it in its hands, and throw it in the trash. It has COMPLETELY changed my gaming experience for the better. ... show more

This is a very expensive card. Having never owned any high end PC gear before and coming from a 750ti, this was a jump to say the least. So far no coil whine, which is a huge relief and should not happen at this price point anyway. This thing tears through any game that you throw at it, and allows me to crank up supersampling in VR as well. Although I'd been waiting for Vega to make my final judgement, this was still the performance king and EVGA's warranty support is among the best in the industry. It is unfortunate that the G sync tax of around $200 comes into play with high end monitors to properly pair with this beast, along with the extra cost of the SLI bridge if you go that route, but for an $800 card, it probably doesn't faze too many other people out there.
