I bought this as a replacement fuel transfer pump and am very pleased with the performance. Lower volume than more expensive units but for my application it works perfectly, pumping diesel from 55 gal drum to drum. The 3 way switch is nice feature allowing you to suck back fuel in the hose so you don’t make a mess. The pull is fine for your typical 55 gal drum and had it pushing fuel Aron 50 feet to the next drum with no issues whatsoever. If it’s for occasional use - this is a perfect fuel transfer pump to meet that application.

Very happy with the fuel transfer pump. It will empty a gas tank faster than typical pumps. NOTE: no hoses come with it. Need a run to hardware store or auto parts store for 2 hoses and clamps, what ever length you need.

Had this pump less than 3 months. Used it less than 5 times. Now, it will not turn on. Says Tech support Free 90 day coverage for troubleshooting. Tech support would not help.

The pump housing split while tightening it to the galvanized delivery pipe. Cheap housing casting. So I bought a second one and didn’t tighten it as much. Works fine

First off pump does not come with hoses. Not a big deal. Second the clamps it comes with are a bit cheap. However that’s the only complaint I would have. The pump itself was used numerous times during the recent hurricane that hit Houston. I was able to pump gas from one container to another with ease. It seems faster than the gas station pumps, which is impressive to me. I cannot speak on quality itself or durability but by far it’s money well spent. Not only does this work on gasoline which is hard to find itself, but it transfers 40gallons with ease. Anybody looking for a gasoline pump that easy to handle and transfer at a good flow rate, this is highly recommended.
