Well these just grow. Im happy enough with that. Looked like dead sticks, not dead sticks. The growth in the picture is like 4 days worth. Im waiting for it to ask me to feed it. Know what you are getting into before purchase. These are FULL SIZE (70 ft tall, 100' root spread) trees (after a long time). This is not a "jr" version. In order to "Bonsai" it, you'd have to pull it up, cut the roots, cut everything constantly. If you have a pond? Stick em around 30-50 feet apart and let your kids watch em grow. Received 3 gorgeous & healthy plants with roots and leaves. I planted 1 in bonsai soil & consistently watered it, and the other 2 rooted in distilled water. After 3 weeks all 3 had significantly longer roots and LOTS of little leaves. Very pleased.

They sprouted roots and they are growing as they should be. I expect to transfer them to soil soon.

    • Dead bonsai trees.
These tree sticks will not grow, but they are very slimy whenever I change the water. second time I bought this tree, and I thought because the first one died that maybe I killed it but the second one is also dead. It is NOT me, it is the sellers.

I got 3 (not 1) cuttings and when I reached out with my confusion they responded quickly and personally and answered all my questions and offered more help if needed. My 3 cuttings are growing super fast and it is so fun to see the daily growth. I have googled how to grow bonsai tree videos and stumbled upon their youtube videos that are super helpful.
