Soft and just the right size to take along on a car, train or plane trip. The attached metal clip makes it easy to attach to Carry-on bag. It also has the ability to slide over the Handle if you choose. It should be noted that it is either a pillow or a blanket. When folded and zipped inside the cover/bag, it's a pillow. When you remove the blanket it isn't a pillow. You could put some clothing from your Carry-on inside the bag to create a pillow and still have use of the blanket. Made well.
